Great value, roof is weird, very quick assembly
Second time assembling the cage I didn't even need the manual it was very easy. No bolts of screws, only some zipties for the fencing which was also very easy. It looks overwhelming, but it really isn't!

nice kennel
My wife and I set this up in an hour or so. It went together pretty easily. The only thing that gave us minor trouble was that the roll of chain link wasn't super easy to unroll because a lot of the top and bottom links loops became interconnected (assume during shipping). It was far from a significant issue and just took time to unlink them. Doing the unlinking was what took the most time in the entire process. We added additional tie wraps to secure the chain link to the bottom frame so that we had it secured about every foot instead of every two feet. We also used two tent stakes per side to stake it to the ground. In the end, it feels sturdy and solid. The sunscreen seems durable. We will leave the sunscreen on all summer but remove in winter - note that it is held on with plastic zip ties so you'll need to buy more when re-installing. The gate latch is a little annoying because the rod holding the chainlink somewhat interferes with it. I bet if we loosened or tightened the eye bolts more that it would solve that - not really a big deal though. I am happy with it, but I do feel the price was a little high and If we needed another kennel, I may or may not buy this one again. If the price were fifty bucks lower, I would definitely buy this one again though. So the price creates a fine line for me on the product even though I am satisfied with it. It's a good kennel overall. We filled ours with mulch at least temporarily as the dog likes to dig himself a spot on the ground.

Nice kennel...but not if you have an escape artist!!!!
I like this kennel and works for what I need (I have dogs that are good in the kennels). I use it outdoors and has held up well. Assembly was easy....but I have been putting kennels together for 15 years so...😂😂. This is NOT a good kennel if you have an escape artist. The chain link fencing is not of the best quality and a determined dog could pull/chew it to make it out. That being said if your dog is good being in there, it would work fine. It is big enough for a large dog bed and water/food bowls and movement for the dog.

My 20 lb dog was able to break it after 3 mos use
bought this to kennel my 20 lb beagles when I'm away from home. We've used it for about 3 mos (waited several months to assemble, which was a nightmare as my kid and I are both small female humans) and it has been okay. Until yesterday. My very determined 20 lb dog, a 7 mo old beagle, was able to tear the wiring away from the base, rip it apart, and escape. So it is not secure. IDK if we will be able to keep using it, but it will require EXTENSIVE repair work - we will have to buy thick wire ties and heavy duty fencing to make it maybe useable. Very disappointing.
