My recently adopted rescue kitty loves this self-warming mat. We live in the south, and sometimes the temps drop a bit. I placed her mat out onto some blankets and she was immediately receptive to it. I sat and gave her plenty of cuddles while she laid down on the pad, and I could feel the toasty warmth beneath her body on the fabric.The size of the mat you see in my photos is the 16”x20” size. My kitten is 6 months old and she is a gangly, lanky girl. She fits on the mat when curled up- but she likes to sprawl as well. This size is great for inside her travel carrier, but I will more than likely also order a larger size for home use so that I can keep the smaller one in her travel carrier. I ordered the brown and I like the rich, chocolatey color. The top is a very fine micro velvet that is very soft. The underside is polyester that has some small rubber dots for traction. It is thin and very pliable. The mat is great quality and has held up with my kitty attacking it during playtime as well.Whether for home or for travel uses- it’s a big hit with my kitty! Works just as described and makes a wonderful addition for these colder months.

I initially planned to use these (2) for our outside cats' houses to keep them warm and dry during the winter. I liked the idea of self-warming so no electrical plugs would be needed. I opened them up and our inside kitties immediately laid on them before I could take them outside. The rest is history . . . . they are on the warm pads every morning while the sun also shines and keeps them nice and warm from the bottom to the top. They are a great price point, especially when you have multiple cats, or just one.I highly recommend.

My tuxedo cat is 18 year's old and back in March, she fell and messed up her back. Nothing was broken thank goodness but sometimes she has a hard time getting up and she does better moving if she is kept warm.I have been looking at the self warming blanket on Amazon for a while since it is getting cooler at night in the state, I live in. After reading several reviews, I decided to pick this one to purchase for her. I got it out of the package and unfold it and put in down on her favorite spot on the love seat and she loved it. After a while I felt under where she laid on the blanket and it was warm. I like the brown color is goes with the couch and love seat. The size is right for her but the thickness of it, I am a little disappoint with because it is not really that thick, like I thought it would be. All in all, my Oreo loves it and I am happy with it.

Great texture, keeps kitties and doggies warm when laying on it! Very thin material but heats up when laying on it. Works great!

I'm not sure how warm it gets but my cat sleeps on it every night. It does make a crinkle noise and it's not very thick. It is soft.

It just happened to be the perfect size for her to rest on. Kept her little body nice and warm and it is machine washable! We are both very pleased with this bed.

Got this for an elderly cat that we bring inside when it gets cold. After i took this out of the package, I set it on the table and put my hand on it for a couple minutes. I was surprised how warm it got underneath my hand. The cat slept on this all day and seemed to really appreciate it. Several times I put my hand under the cat and was delighted at how warm it was for her.

Initially I thought my purchase had been a failure because my cat refused to go near her bed with its new self heating pet pad. However yesterday I discovered her curled up in her new bed and she hasn't wanted to move since. She is one warm, cosy, contented cat :)

Not as thick as expected so use this to line my cat's basket to provide extra warmth. I ordered a thicker one to use in the conservatory. I clean with Febreeze and a microfiber cloth.
