Fantastic mouse for those who like it heavy.
I'm an avid PC user and rarely replace my accessories. My mouse especially was hard to replace, as every top end mouse seems to get lighter and lighter. However, after using the Basilisk V3, I can safely say this mouse has been a perfect upgrade from my 2013 Deathadder. It weighs roughly the same, being on the heavier side for a mouse, and that's perfect for me. It's built great, has a fantastic braided cable which is smooth to the touch, it doesn't catch on corners like the older Razer cables, and the RGB is stellar. I really like the ring of RGB that goes around the base, and it's incredibly easy to edit in Razer Synapse. The mouse is also extremely comfortable. I didn't expect a thumb rest to do much, but I'll honestly miss it if I ever have to upgrade. For the price, you really can't go wrong. This mouse is incredible for its price point and well worth investing in if you like to 'feel' your mouse movements.

Does everything well
"infinite scroll is a gimmick", they said. I use it constantly. and it makes a cool click when you press the button too. Shout out to Razer. It's not that expensive either. I don't play a lot of KB+M games but I do a lot of 3d modelling and it's a good productivity mouse. I'm not looking forward to replacing the optical switches or taking it apart for any other reason though, it looks like a PITA

The perfect mouse
Excellent gaming mouse! Scroll acts strange from time to time but works just as expected. Love multi-sensitivity features on it!

Pretty good mouse
I like that you can customise the mouse and customise the config too . Arrived super fast and it’ll take me some time to get used to a gaming mouse but so far it’s great

Just right!!!
Looks better in irl ,very comfy to hold in palm grip & the thumb rest is great as it stops you draggin mouse matt with your thumb. Rgb lights are the best ive seen on a mouse to date , my only complaint is the sofware razer central seems to make my spare nvme ssd drive unrecognized by windows 11 ? Pc Restart does'nt fix the issue but shutting down the pc then switching back on makes the drive re-appear thankfully. Overall Im very happy with the Razer Basilisk V3 .

I’ve genuinely liked using the Razer Basilisk V3. The first thing I noticed was how comfortable it felt. Some mice are fine for about 20 minutes and then they start feeling like a weirdly shaped brick. This mouse has been much better for longer use, whether I’m gaming or just clicking around online doing whatever nonsense I got distracted by. What I like most is that it feels like someone actually thought about how a hand works. The buttons are responsive, the movement is smooth, and the scroll wheel feels so nice that it almost made reading comment sections worth it. Almost. While this mouse has not been life changing in a dramatic movie soundtrack kind of way, it has changed my expectations enough that going back to a cheaper mouse would feel like using a shopping cart with one bad wheel. Oh, and the customization. I am not out here trying to launch a space mission from my desk, but it is nice being able to set things up in a way that actually fits how I use it. Once everything is dialed in, it just feels easy. Overall, it has been a genuinely solid mouse and one of those upgrades you stop thinking about because it just quietly does its job well. Which, for a mouse, is honestly the dream. It just sits there, minds its business, and makes me slightly more powerful than I probably deserve.

I'm currently using my third Logitech G502 mouse, but I bought this one on sale ($49.99), as my next mouse. I really love the dual-mode scrolling on the G502, but the quality is bad enough that I started to look elsewhere (in face, I bought a G502 as a back up, but the decline in quality [mousewheel stopped being coloured properly, the cable is no longer braided, etc.] made me return it). I really like this one! The dual-mode scrolling is a non-negotiable for me, so that really limits me to a couple of models, and I'd say this one is my favourite right now (as long as build quality keeps up). It feels great in the hand, with subtle textures all over + the rubberized sides that helps with grip, and all the buttons have satisfying clicks and feel solid. The cable is very flexible, but feels sturdy and the braiding is tight and secure. The software is also better than the Logitech one, and works a lot more straightforwardly. The remapping can do everything I want, though the macros took a bit to get right. I will say, I was confused that the mouse wheel only changed modes if it's plugged in--the Logitech one has a mechanical switch which works without power, so I was expecting the same here; I thought I got a defective unit at first. As someone with small hands even for my height (5'3"), unfortunately the thumb button and the extra buttons behind the wheel are hard to press. The thumb button is place at about the same location as the the one on G502, but you can only press it down if your thumb is in the middle of it. That means I have move my entire hand forward to reach it, instead of just a stretch with my thumb--pretty difficult to use quickly while gaming. Really makes me miss the two index finger buttons on the G502; I knew about the lack of those going in, but I didn't realize how easy they were to use and how much I'd miss them. Overall, great mouse for the current price! Functionality is great, and the scroll wheel is superb.
