Ikat weaving is an ancient weaving technique used traditionally in Indonesia to create designs in textiles by resist-dyeing the threads before the fabric is woven. The word ikat derives from the Malay and Indonesian word which means to tie or to bind. Woven by expert weavers in traditional villages on the islands of Bali, Java, Sumbawa, Sumba, Flores and Timor in the Indonesian archipelago.

The picture is deceptive. ;It is skimpy material and wasn't long as I though it would be. I may be able to use it for a smaller situation eventually. I won't order from Wisdom Arts again
