Doesn't Really Fly
I have had this kite for a year, after leaving my reliable and awesome flying $10.00 sled kite down in Los Cabos while on vacation, it was time to break the Prism foil kit out. What a let down, right out of the bag it wants to pitch right and dive, no problem, nothing a bit of adjustment to the harness can't correct! Yeah right! This is not a kite you would give a novice or a child. One out of ten may get lucky and have a true flyer. I tried for two hours to get this kite to fly and couldn't find the sweet spot so it is back on the shelf in the closet where it will stay till it goes to the trashcan. I typically fly dual line kites, an HQ Foil and a SPECTRUM Fuse Delta, but i like to sometimes just put one in the air and relax my sled kite was great for that. Save the $35. 00 on this one folks.

Awesome go anywhere, pack anywhere kite when a successful flight is a must!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Awesome, lightweight and easy to use single line kite! I carried this around for a week of backpacking waiting for the right moment to give to my 10 year old kiddo as a surprise. Summitting her first 11,000' peak at 10pm seemed like the right time, and she had a blast flying the neon green and yellow kite in the light breeze that cooled us down after the last rocky scramble. It was easy to see in the low light (think Patagonia worthy sunset over the surrounding peaks in Montana's Beartooth mountains) , another hiker who was also near the summit asked us later if it was glow in the dark!! The kite was easy, fun, and made a memorable trip even more special for my daughter.

Very nicely made and packaged
Very nicely made and packaged. It flew for the first time in a very light fluky wind that was only about 6 mph. I launched it out of my hand and it climbed as high as I gave it line. Really attractive in the sky in the lime green color. A bargain at the price. I can put the kite and my kite reel in my knapsack and fly just about anywhere. I had no problems with tangling at at all, the bridles and the color coded red attachment loop came out of the package very neatly. I have owned and flown prism stunt kites and they have a very good reputation but this is my first single line kite from them, thanks for the great product and to Amazon for the crazy fast free shipping! I think more adults should try kite flying whether single line or stunt kite. It's cheap and fun, it gets you out in the fresh air and it's very relaxing and gives you a chance to think. I'm kind of old, fat and prone to depression, a kite brings a great deal of joy and relief and a break from worry. Give it a try! It's cheaper than therapy!

It feels like cheating! Goes up and stays up.
These kites are amazing! They are so incredibly easy to fly. I have all kinds of kites—diamond style, delta kites, weird animal shapes, and other parafoil style. This one out flies them all! It will literally be up in seconds and will stay up for hours. Even if it does lose altitude because it gets twisted up a bit, a little bit of reeling it in will usually cause it to right itself. Everyone around you will struggle with their fancy and cute kites, but this one will fly like a dream, even in iffy weather.I have 2 Bora 5’s and convinced a friend to get a Bora 7. We’ve flown every Friday since the lockdown and these have passed the test. I don't know what all the people who gave a bad review are talking about. This is absolutely the easiest kite to fly. I do recommend that you get a reel instead of using the included handle. A reel will make the process much easier. Also, it is very durable. Other kites I purchased at the same time are already fraying.

A little tricky. Very portable and pretty.
This isn't a kite for an impatient beginner with non-ideal weather. It can be a little difficult to launch, control, and untangle its many strings. But it's stunning (especially the large), and it does pack very small. One more druther: I hate the large, hard-plastic C-shape spool-clip attached to the soft bag. It makes the stashed kite needlessly less portable. I quickly cut it off. Also, the pack-down sizes posted above are wrong. They are much thinner (sans spools, I prefer my own spool):- Bora 2: 7 x 4 x 1 inches- Bora 5: 8 x 5.5 1.5 inches- Bora 7: 9.5 x 6 x 2 inches

Very nice kite!!
I love this kite!! I took it to the beach and flew it with a 20 foot kite tail. The winds were 10 - 20 mph at any given time. This kite is ready to fly right out of the bag...there's no assembly or plastic parts to break. Just connect the kite string to the loop on the kite and it's ready to go. We launched the kite as soon as we arrived at the beach and fastened it to our cooler. It never left the sky for 3 full days and nights and I mean that literally. We camped at the beach so there was no need to bring it back in until we left. I thought for sure that I would wake up in the morning and find it on the ground, but that never happened. I recommend getting a kite tube tail with it. It was definitely an attention getter and a good way to see our camp site from far away!! I'm very happy with this purchase and Prism Designs in general. I'll attached pics soon.

Stays up when others come down
I have used several variations of this kite along the seashore, in cities, and out on the flats of the midwest. A great flier that climbs well, heels into the lightest of breezes, and stays up when other kites come down. Does like a steady on-shore flow for maximum height, but a very dependable kite that makes those windy days a joy. Plus it packs up small and travels well. Great for vacations.
