Excellent Boards, Highly Recommended, just plan carefully.
These were purchased to replace the X-Arcade control panel on the work arcade machine. Everybody loves the machine now with them, and fighting games are now possible as well. Even on regular games like Final Fight, X-Arcade REALLY sucks. These are a 1000 times better. The good:1) I can't feel any lag!2) Extremely easy to setup given the right parts. Use cherry MX switches and you are golden. Just plug and play. Everything is labeled very clearly as well. No sodering necessary.3) When buying two, Windows was able to differentiate between stick0 and stick1 on reboot, so there was no reconfiguration necessary.4) Price: cannot beat it for such a robust feature set. Its certainly not a Brook Universal Arcade board, but it doesn't NEED to be. For my machine, I will be buying 4 of these.5) Now that Street Fighter 5 PC uses direct input, you can use these boards for it if you choose. The neutral:1) Cables are short. Please plan your stick carefully if you plan to use these. They did not reach all the buttons on the x-arcade tank-stick. But do not blame the Amatek on that one.2) The cables lock into your switches if you use cherry MX, so you will need pliers to take them apart. Good for ensuring your switches don't fall off. Bad for removal. If you try to use fingers, the connectors are SHARP. You've been warned. The Ugly:1) My blood is a permanent part of the joystick now. See neutral #2.Conclusion: I recommend this highly to anybody building a stick on the cheap. Just plan your stick carefully and you will be set.

Worked great! Used in a Raspberry Pi running RetroPie
Worked great! Used in a Raspberry Pi running RetroPie. My only complaints are that the cables need to be twice as long so that it will fit wider control panel layouts, the mounting holes were too small for wood screws and the size didn't match any project box I could find so mounting was done with double sided tape.

The device is very easy to set up and is automatically detected in Windows
I purchased this for use in my virtual pinball machine. I have purchased these previously and they work right out of the box. I've used them with the Raspberry Pi, Windows XP/7, and Linux. The device is very easy to set up and is automatically detected in Windows. A great low price alternative. Very good response time.
