This case, although pricey, is super well made with quality everywhere. It makes the Flirc case seems cheap and low quality. I love the clear top to see what's inside, and although it's not stated this is for a NanoPi M4, that is what I have in there and it works and fits perfectly. I never get over 140° F. I am using the bottom of the case as a heatsink as the CPU on the M4 is on the bottom of the board. Adding some copper plates to fill the gap and presto! I also added a 5v 45mm fan just to sit on top of the board and that provides additional cooling. Great case!

I really think this case is now my favorite. I like the look of the silver with the clear top. Obviously much heavier than the official pi case, but they are nearly the same size. Extremely well made with a fine finish. I only wish they would have included a full power supply and not just a USB power supply with an on/off switch. Not a big deal and maybe part of the reason to keep the price lower considering it's already a pricey case. If you want a touch of class for your Pi, this case is a great choice.

Poe hat fits, I had to drill out standoffs and buy longer machine screws.

Excellent quality built case that was easy to assemble and aluminum materials allows for faster heat dissipation. Did not need to use any fans just the included heat sinks that came with the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. Currently running Raspbian Stretch. Included USB cable with power switch however displayed the lightning bolt in the top right corner of the screen. This is most likely the USB port not providing enough power. Nonetheless I was not expecting the power cable to come with the case and will not be using it.

Nice case and easy to install, but ..... if you have a Raspberry with a daughter board this case is not for your.I like the design and the quality, but unfortunately I could not really use it as my Raspberry PI has board on top and therefore this case was just too small.

I had to flip the mounting screws since i had a gps board on top, and the top didnt close all the way because of this mod, which broke the plastic top. Overall is a great case, and would recommend.

This case is awesome. If like me you want a case that has a smoky lid that you can see an LCD display through, this is for you.I've got a Display-o-Tron 3000 under the smokey lid and it looks great. Obviously it darkens the display, but it makes it a lot more subtle looking.Very sturdy build quality, the included cable is nice and installation is a piece of cake. Everything feels nice and snug.What I will say though, is if you're likely to swap hats a lot, you'll struggle as once you have a HAT installed, it's friggin' hard to get it out...especially if you've used all 4 screws to mount the pi.

My Desktop PC case is made by Anidées and so I knew this would be a well designed product and indeed it is. My only criticism's are with the small Allen key they give you (It is very weak and rounds easily so use a better one) and the threaded stand-off's.I found two of the inner hex screws to be quite difficult to tighten into the stand-off and one of them wouldn't go in at all and cross-threaded. I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to get the Pi out without damaging the screw but fortunately the case is nice enough I don't think I'll need to. This could simply have been a minor manufacturing defect.The lid is a smoky black colour and translucent enough that you can see the LED's but without seeing the details of the board.

wonderful quality, bit expensive, and microsd card difficult to fit on pie 3. even on pie 2 can be a pain, instead make a tab out of a bit of insulation tape to lengthen the microsd and it works .also my pie 3 kept failing in this , but thats pie 3 fault gets a bit host, perfect for pie 2, been on weeks no issues.

In dieses Gehäuse verpackt kann man seinen Raspberry Pi auch mal sichtbar aufstellen. Die Verarbeitung des Gehäuses ist sauber, da gibt es keine Kanten oder Grate. Bei mir laufen ein Raspi 3B im schwarzen Gehäuse und ein 3B+ im silbernen Gehäuse als Musikstreamer im Arbeitszimmer und im Wohnzimmer. Zur Stromversorgung nehme ich 90 Grad abgewinkelte Mikro-USB Kabel (z.B. Cuitan Micro USB Kabel). So laufen alle Kabel nach hinten und seitlich steht nichts mehr heraus. Sieht gut aus. Die Gummifüßchen haften auf glatten Flächen wie Glas oder beschichteten Regalböden gut bis sehr gut. Da kratzt oder rutscht nichts.So ein Metallgehäuse verbessert sicher nicht den WLAN Empfang, doch durch den Plastikdeckel kommt genug Signal durch. Ich bemerke keine Verschlechterung.Zur Kühlung, es gibt drei breite Schlitze im Gehäuseboden. Über dem GPIO Port gibt es unter dem Deckel einen Schlitz, ca. 2mm hoch. Ein weiterer, sehr dünner Schlitz befindet sich über dem Ethernet Port. Die Schlitze dienen zur Durchführung von Flachkabeln. Ich glaube nicht, daß sie wesentlich zur Kühlung beitragen.Bei einer Raumtemperatur von ca. 23,5’C meldet der Temperatursensor im Gehäuse des 3B etwa 45'C bis 46'C ohne Last. Im Gehäuse mit dem 3B+ sind es ca. 48,5’C bis 49,5’C. Auf beiden Pis läuft ein spezialisiertes System names RoPieee. Der 3B hat zwei von diesen billigen Alu-Kühlkörpern aufgeklebt, sie mögen dem 3B gegenüber dem 3B+ einen Vorteil von höchstens 1,5’C verschaffen. Zum Vergleich, ein weiterer 3B+ in einem offenen Gehäuse zeigt ohne Last eine Temperatur von 49,5’C bis 50’C an. An seinem Standort ist die Lufttemperatur aber auch gut 0,5’C höher.Bei einer Dauerlast um die 20% habe ich für den 3B+ im Anidees Gehäuse maximal 54’C gemessen. Diese Last ergab sich beim Streamen mit (unsinnigen) 705,6 kHz in 32 Bit.Ich folgere, daß dieses Gehäuse bei Anwendungen mit geringen Anforderungen an die Rechenleistung (z.B. Pihole, Musik streamen) keine thermische Probleme bereiten wird, auch im Hochsommer nicht.

Habe lange darauf gewartet dieses (damals tatsächlich noch deutlich teurere Gehäuse) endlich wieder bestellen zu können. Habe mittlerweile eine ganze Menge Gehäuse testen dürfen, das anidees Al gehört dabei deutlich mit zu den besseren.Im Detail:Die, meiner Meinung nach, erstklassige Optik besticht durch solide Verarbeitung und das relativ hohe Gewicht zeugt von der Qualität der verwendeten Materialien (zum Vergleich Raspi im Plastikcase: 85g, im Alucase eines anderen Herstellers 115g, anidees Al 195g). An der Unterseite sind 4 rutschfeste Pads angebracht, die für einen sicheren Stand sorgen. Auf der GPIO-Seite des Raspi's ist im Case ein ~ 1.8mm breiter Schlitz eingelassen, der es ermöglich die GPIO's zu verbinden und gleichzeitig den Deckel aufzuschrauben. Durch den relativ dicken Acryldeckel ist die Gesamthöhe des Gerätes im Vergleich zu anderen Cases einige Millimeter höher, bei dem Formschönen Case will man das Gerät aber auch sicher nicht weiter verbauen.Der Preis ist sicherlich ein ganzes Stück weg von den üblichen alternativen Verdächtigen, erhalten tut man dafür aber ein passgenaues, solides Gehäuse, welches mit allen notwendigen M2.5 - Schrauben ausliefert wird, sowie dem notwendigen 6L-Schlüssel zur Befestigung eben jener. Ferner liegt dem Gehäuse ein Micro-USB zu USB - Kabel bei, welches einen ON/OFF - Switch besitzt, sowie 2 Schrauben zur Wandbefestigung was insgesamt den Preis wieder etwas relativiert.Fazit: Wer seinen Raspberry nicht weiter verbauen will und ein Case sucht, welches zur Abwechslung auch mal tageslichtauglich ist, sowie langfristig glücklich machen soll, kann bei dem Kauf nicht viel verkehrt machen. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
