1 X Pearlized Smudging Abalone Shell

Despite the fact that the Amazon driver just dropped my package instead of sitting it down gently, it's very pretty. Of course a large piece of mine was broken off due to the carelessness of the driver, but I still love it.

I ordered this shell after reading the other reviews that had been posted. I received the shell before the promised date, and the packaging was GREAT! The shell is so pretty, the colors change in the light and it looks beautiful on the stand that I also purchased to go with it. The outside of the shell looks like it should, natural, blues and rust. The inside is mostly turquois-colored, with some beautiful iridescent green as well as mother of pearl colors. The top portion and sides are smooth and very shiny and the bottom has a beautiful texture, almost resembling a fish face! There are holes along one side of the shell, but this is natural, and if you turn that side up, there is plenty of room left to burn sage. The shell is very good-sized and covers my entire hand. I am very pleased with this shell and would highly recommend it for people looking for a naturally beautiful shell. It is displayed on the stand in my guest room when I'm not using it and everyone admires it!

This Abalone shell was magnificent in size. Have seen this product before, in person, for more than twice its price point! The shipping charges still kept the purchase price point value well below competitors. For what it was purchased for, it is adequately functional. Even in the photo of the shell, you see these black spots that detract from the beauty of this shell. But what is not evident in the photo is the line of holes that a lot of these Abalone shells tend to have; making putting sand in it impractical. I kept this item because it was not financially feasible to return or exchange it.

I ordered this smudging abalone shell because I did not have anything for my sage. I usually just used a plate or bowl. This shell is perfect size and it adds a nice natural look to my altar when the sage is just resting and is not in use. It is a good weight, not heavy but not so light to where it would break or crack easily. I am very pleased with this shell in both appearance and quality and I highly recommend this one to people who are interested in finding something for their smudge sticks.

It is exactly what it says it is. I saw remarks where people complained of holes in shell. But that is what an abalone shell is.My son found one of these whole shells years back. Wish I would have known then about it, that I do now.It serves it's purpose. The couple holes does not effect the purpose. The smudging stick is safe sitting in the shell orcollecting the ashes. Would have given it five stars but of course it is not perfect.

I received my Smudging Abalone Shell in a very timely manner. Mine does not actually look like the picture, as far as the color goes. I am pleased with the product so far. I will use it soon and report back to you. I have never did a smudging this will be my first, I noticed it has a couple of holes in the shell. I guess that is normal. I love the size of it, Over all so far I am pleased!

I was nervous, when I ordered these, about the quality of what I would be getting, and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised when I got them They far surpass my expectations They are lovely, large, and perfect for my needs. The contrast between the rough outside, and the smooth, colorful insides is almost poetic. I seriously love these things.Now, be aware, please, that there are natural holes in these, they actually help when it comes to incense, but, if you intended to use them as bowls, you will be able to hold some liquid, but you will not be able to fill the shell.

The shell is beautiful on the inside, but not finished at all on the outside. You can see all the holes they screwed to open the shell. I don't like that. I have a higher quality pink one at home, that I like much better. However I purchased this as a gift for a friend, and it will work just fine for that. It came in the mail really fast and well wrapped.

Perfect
