I've been using Sage to Smudge for many years. I'm a 53 year-old man who became interested in Native American philosophy, rites, and rituals since the mid-1990s. Of all the books I've read, Sage was mentioned many times as a tool for different rituals. However, none of them went into the depth that this book does!! Finally, I have a book on Sage & Smudge in my vast library that is perfect for all occasions; all types of rituals for all my various needs. This book is quite unique and I highly recommend it for all who need to enhance your Sage experiences.

Great guide for smudging. Quick references, easy to read, and broken up into sections, so you can easily find areas of interest. Don't need to be an expert to understand the reading in this book. There are other more in depth books on the subject, but for a basic guide, you can't go wrong.

this book not only gives you instruction on how to use sage in a smudge cleansing; but you get some history and ceremonies that can be useful. It is well written and therefore easy to read and understand, you don't need a PHD. If you have any interest in Native American culture, this book will give you some insight. I fully enjoy it and keep it handy when I smudge.

This book was the perfect choice for me, as I have just started the practice of smudging as part of my personal spiritual journey. Easy to understand smudging basics with detailed descriptions of tools and materials along with brief history of the tradition and example rituals to follow when first starting out. Love this book!

I can see why this book won awards. It has very detailed information. Whatever question pops into your head, it seems an answer can be found. Very explainable and easy to follow. I've actually purchased copies as gifts to people with smudge kits as house warming gifts.

Great book! I am about half way through and I cannot put it down. Has great advice to a newcomer to smudging like myself.

Very overpriced. I paid over $40CAD and was expecting a book that reflected that price. It's a thin paperback with basic information and a $14.95CAD price on the back of the book. Get this book elsewhere, or save your money and don't buy it at all.
