Bose 151 SE Environmental Speakers, Elegant Outdoor Speakers - Black

Used these speakers to complement another set of Bose that I had purchased a few years earlier in completing my outdoor sound system for around my backyard pool. After taking measurements for proper placement, able to put them up in minutes. Mounted the two (2) pairs under an eave and a small 2nd floor balcony. One is attached to Zone 2 of a Yamaha RX-760A receiver with the other connected to a SONOS AMP (Gen 1). As expected as with the prior owned set , these provide excellent sound quality and fill a large outdoor space quite well. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

These put out a lot of sound for the Bose price. Within the Bose ecosystem, a good value. They sound full and I really like the "Stereo Everywhere" feature since I am using them outside in my backyard. They appear to withstand the elements pretty well so far. I have them installed under my awning. You can install them vertically or horizontally which is nice -- but note for the Stereo Everywhere feature they must be installed horizontally. The actual install brace is super easy to put up, unlike other speakers I have dealt with in the past. Everything you need for installation is in the box, except the speaker wire and amp and source.

I bought these speakers to replace 20 year old Bose 121 mobile monitors. One of the 121 finally bit the dust. I installed one of these new 151's first to compare. Then I installed the other. The 121's sounded way fuller and had way more bottom end. These 151's are very mushy sounding with little to no bass response. Bose really missed the boat with these. I will return them and pick another brand as I don't trust Bose as much as I used too. I am positive I can find a better speaker at a lower price.

Did plenty of research online and the Bose 151 continuously showed up as being some of the best outdoor speakers in the market. Debated between the Bose 151 and the Bose 251 but the Bose 251 are much larger in size and overall footprint so I ended up purchasing the older Bose 151 speakers. The Bose 151 speakers arrived within a few days of placing my order. Speakers were in great condition and came with mounting brackets. The brackets allow the speakers to be rotated but not tilted. Ended up purchasing additional mounting brackets to tilt the speakers. Speakers were mounted underneath my deck and provide plenty of great sound. Sound quality is clear and has a decent amount of bass. Ordered and installed in Spring 2021.

I bought two sets of these to serve as outdoor speakers at our Texas lakehouse. They were located under an eve so they plenty of sunlight, but it wasn't direct sunlight. Both sets failed with normal use after 3-4 years. After the second set died, I was fed up and bought a set of Polk Atrium 8s and five years later they are still going strong, and sound as good as the Bose did. So while I like the look of the Bose speakers, and the way they sound, because these fail so quickly with normal use I will not buy them again.

Great, Awesome, Deep, Rich Sound!! Outside!! Bose delivers with the 151. Makes me want 251's. Mine have been outside in South Carolina for about 6 months now. Heat, heat and a little bit more heat and they still sound great!! Humidity here is high, time will tell on that end, but great so far.I will bring them inside before it freezes however.

The sound quality is good. The bass response is a bit weak, but it's better than some of the reviews indicated. Overall a good speaker for an outdoor area. Priced right..

I bought these pair of speakers for outdoor usage. They blend in perfectly with the window / door trim of the house. Mounting them was very easy. They are up and running regardless of rain or sunshine. I love the sound, which is typical Bose. They are a statement and surely the envy of the neighborhood. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I hooked them up to a Micro-component receiver from Yamaha, and this combination works perfectly, sound is great! I hope they don't let me down as one will be always concerned about exposing electronics to the elements. I would definitely buy them again and can recommend them.

Bought these speakers for the backyard. They are connected to a receiver that supports AirPlay so we have the same music everywhere in the house and around the pool. Speakers come with mounting hardware; installation is incredibly simple and speakers are solidly affixed to the wall. Sound quality is on par with what can be expected of Bose. Very happy of this purchase. Shipping was quick as usual; thanks Amazon.

Excelente sonido claro y nítido. Las bocinas no las usé para exterior, las usé como bocinas L y R para mi home theater Pioneer VSX522 en mi sala. El resto de las bocinas (la central y las de surround) son JBL y en general el sonido es impresionante. El material de las bocinas es de muy buena calidad y el sonido es excelente sobre todo en medios y altos con buen brillo. Para los bajos tengo un subwoofer Onkyo que completa toda la instalación.

do 5 stelle per la celeberrima amazon. perche le prime arrivate presentavano una rottura e x 300€ un po mi girano ma amazon impeccabile in giorno dopo ha rispedito subito un altra confezione perfettame integra.. le casse suonano pulito x uso all aperto giardino piscina ecc ovviamente nn ci si fa un concerto.. ma restano comunque ottime per il fatto che posson stare all aperto forse costano cosi anche per quel motivo
