Natural, Aluminum-Free, unscented Deodorant

I used to use the usual drugstore brand deodorants, like Dove and such, and they did work really well to keep me smelling fresh. Plus the scents were nice, especially the pomegranate ones, but lately for the past two years, I've been trying to be conscious of what I put on my body, like makeup, skincare, and what I eat as well. I had tried a natural deodorant before, this crystal one, but I found the spray bottle hard to use since the pump sucked and I didn't want to rub a crystal rock underneath my arm.This DeodoMom lotion deodorant is the answer to all my problems. You shake it and apply. I like to massage it into the skin, which helps get rid of any white residue that might happen once it drys. I do apply liberally and it has not failed me once. I smell fresh, well as fresh as anyone after a workout, but it works everyday for me. There is no nasty smell at all coming from your underarms since this deodorant is very effective. I'm not exactly sure if this is an antiperspirant too, but I have noticed that my underarms are dry, which is a huge plus!It's not really a lotion like how you would think of a face lotion, but a really watery white liquid that absorbs really quickly. Maybe 10 second tops after rubbing it into my skin and I can put my shirt back on. There is no residue at all on my shirt or underarms so I can wear those strapless and short sleeve tops.I love that there are no toxic ingredients, no fragrance, no parabens, and etc. The biggest plus of this product is that it doesn't make me itch! I always thought that shaving and the regrowth of the hair made me itch like mad, but for the past month or so, I have shaved and used this deodorant and there is no itching at all! I never realized the pleasure of not having to try to discretely itch your underarms in public. I will buy this product again and again. $12 may seem a lot for a deodorant, but it is effective, non itching, and non toxic. There are other natural deodorants out there, but this one works for me and is not way overpriced like some other ones out there.I have been using it daily for about a month and there is a lot of product left. It says that it should last about 3 months so I will be buying a few extra bottles. I don't know if they expire or anything, but I plan to keep one at my place and my parents place so that I will never be without this product.Sometimes I find myself wanting to reach for that Dove again because it's just a habit, but then I remind myself that this product works just as effectively. There's just no more of that sweet pomegranate taste, so I have to rely on other products for that scent. Plus a bit of rubbing into the skin that I never had to do with traditional deodorants, but then I remember that I don't want to put such toxic chemicals into my body. Every time I don't use harmful products, I try to remind myself that I may be getting a few more years in my life or maybe just days, but I'm happy to pick the safer choice any day.I don't know how sanitary this rollon applicator is, but traditional deodorants use it too, and it's only three months of usage so I'm not too worried about like bacterial build up or stuff like that.I'm so thankful that you guys created this product.

UPDATE: 9/2016. I've been using DeodoMom Roll On for 3-4 years now. We just went through another really hot, humid summer. This product works for me and I'm very happy it only contains two ingredients! There's no residue, no irritation. The itchy red rash hasn't come back. (Originally, it took probably a few weeks for it to work but I was patient and now it's a keeper!)UPDATE: 10/2015. I decided to try another deodorant (and then another and another) from an upscale store that has a large selection of paraben free, aluminum free deodorants. Never again. I'm staying with DeodoMom Roll On. Ordered one, ordered another one just to have on hand. I won't be trying other brands anymore. This deodorant most importantly keeps the smell away. I'm now a customer for life!A few years ago I started getting a red, irritated, itchy and burning rash under my arms. I stopped using deodorant for a while but that didn't last of course (odor). I used Kiss My Face deodorant for a couple years and then all of a sudden the rash came back a couple months ago. After being checked out (again) by a dermatologist who gave me a 'script for the rash, I ended up looking for another deodorant to use. I found this one - DeodoMom and, frankly, was skeptical. Well, so far, all is well. It's mild with no scent and keeps the odor at bay. On those very high dew point days I do develop some wetness but that's okay by me. I'm keeping my figurative fingers crossed that I can keep using this deodorant from now on. I am very happy with it and will repurchase. UPDATE: we are in the midst of a heat wave and I am very happy to say the DeodoMom roll on is working extremely well!

Was looking for a long time for a non-toxic deodorant that was safe, even for young adults. Wanted aluminum free, so that also excluded most of the "crystals" - they have aluminum salts -- don't be fooled by claims that they are "aluminum free". Also didn't want parabens, which are endocrine disruptors. Read that "natural" deodorants that contain coconut oil or baking soda can be very irritating. On the other hand, have read that magnesium is safe, and the amount in Deodomom is extremely low. (There actually are therapeutic magnesium creams out there, that's how beneficial magnesium is to the body. Deficiencies of magnesium can even cause migraines.)There are four of us who use this product. It works very well for 3 of us - no odors - we've been using the product for over a year now. The fourth user does not smell as great, but they do not always use it every day, and they don't wash or shave as often, which could definitely explain the difference in effectiveness.None of us have ever experienced any irritation from this product, including one of us who had terrible irritations after using conventional deodorants. Yes, it can leave a white residue; just don't put on too much, and be careful when putting on dark colored shirts. We generally replace all of our Deodomom roll-ons after three months, since the tops do start to smell a bit. It helps if we follow the instructions to periodically rinse the roller ball.For anyone concerned that it doesn't work as well for them during the course of the day, it might help to reapply it. It sure beats the cancer-causing, endocrine-disrupting ingredients from other mainstream deodorant/antiperspirant products. I'll put up with Deodomom any day.
