PPS232RC 2 Lamp Shop Light

My light shipped to me in the factory box only, no additional packaging. And it barely made it. The flap on the end of the box was completely open. There was no manual or chains or any mounting hardware (if it even came with those) in the box, just the light itself. The light was a bit dented in a few places, but was easy to bend back in to shape. It puts off a ton of light for my garage workbench. It's exactly what I needed and it does great. I will probably get another one soon to hang over the hood of my cars in the garage to make servicing them easier. Great product, but needs to be shipped in an extra box.

Sure you can get basic shop lights at your local hardware store, or the tacky diamond plated ones, but would you hang those over your classic Porsche? No, you wouldn't. They don't look as good as these. I bought two and wired them up to replace a simple old switched bulb socket in the garage. Amazing transformation, and ample light for at least half of my two car garage. If you want to light up the whole thing, consider buying four. But I do all my work at the front where the car hoods are along with the workbench and cabinets, so there's plenty. On a normal height two car garage ceiling (10'?), use half the chain length to hang them for just the right amount. Power cords are 3-prong and roughly 6' in length- enough to reach a socket near the middle of the ceiling. Highly recommended units. Great build quality, looks and value. Bought these on here with Christmas gift cards. Some use those for books and DVDs. I bought shop lights. Amazon is awesome.

Ordered two from Amazon.com. Sold by ANTOnline. One of the two was severely damaged in shipping, the second was dented and slightly bent. I accepted that one. (The orignal company packaging is insufficient for shipping, may be OK for static store "cash and carry " display.) I contacted ANTonline "customer service" about the damaged one and was advised he didn't know what to do about it, "he'd never had this happen before and he would contact his shipping dept. to find out what to do. Hmmm. The light itself is cheap tin and the reflector was all out of place. Put two F34 tubes into it and plugged it in, immediately blew the GFI breaker. Plugged it into a regular outlet and it lights up. So I guess I can't use the switched GFI breaker in my garage with this light. (there are 4 other similar fixtures that work fine).In conclusion, this light isn't worth the $25, and the manufacturer packaging will not protect it adequately when shipping. Shop around and find another/better light than this one. Expensive piece of tin junk.

flimsy, low price means poor quality in this case, switch broke, arrived dented.

Product arrived dented but functional. It's for a garage so it seems like it would be more trouble to return it than just live with it. Vendor got off easy on this one.

These are great fixtures, and work great exactly like you would expect from an T8 fixture. Although, the seller "Life and Home" bundled the 4 Fixtures I ordered together back to back, in only their thin factory boxes, with plastic wrap holding them all together, and shipped them to me this way. As a result, all of them where badly bent and dented up during transit. They do still work, but they look like they where recovered out of a disaster area. Will cost $25 in shipping to send these back, which the seller refuses to cover. I will never buy from this seller again. Do not buy these fixtures from Life and Home if you care about them getting to you undamaged.

I ordered two of these and both boxes looked fine. I opened them and one fixture was crushed. Extremely poor packaging.When first turned on one bulb lights fine and the other is quite dim and takes 10 minutes to completely light.The workmanship and materials are poor and cheap.I recommend DO NOT BUY!
