Made some sourdough bread with the starter after following the instructions. Very tasty, nice flavor and definitely sour.

I'm an experienced sourdough baker. I've created my own starters from scratch and I've used several dried starters before.I followed the directions precisely in the package and 5 days later there is still zero activity.The "starter" did not taste, smell or look like any legitimate dried starter that I've ever used before... No wonder pretty much every single recipe included tells you to add a package of active dry yeast to each batch.

Took a while to receive this starter but have been using it for about 2-3 months now it is active .
