A reasonably priced tested and extremely reliable factory LSD for reasonable people
The media could not be loaded. 1994 F150 4X4 4.9 ZF5 BW1356 3:55 8.8 33X10.5R15 KO2 the original 27yo LSD was shot out, clunky spider gears from lack of maintenance (wouldn’t hook up) the M4204F318c is a stock upgraded OEM replacement LSD, couldn’t hardly buy all the parts to rebuild properly for what this new unit cost..I’m going to use Dino oil with Ford additive change at .5K and again at 5k and run it.

Worth It
For the price, this has to be one of the best upgrades that can be had for any Ford 8.8” differential. Works great in my ‘93 F-150.

Great parts!
I have a 2002 expedition. I used the stock carrier and put the new axel gears(31 spline) , clutches, spider gears, pretty much everything other than the carrier. It all slid in place perfectly. Great product. Great parts. I’m really impressed. Thank you.

Decent posi
I bought this for my 4x2 explorer with the 8.8 disk rear daily driver. Driving in the rain it would usually spin one tire since it had an open diff, so pulling out in traffic was sometimes sketchy. I professionally installed this, and it definitely helped give power to both wheels. I’ve had it in for a few months and will say though, sometimes I does still slip allowing one wheel to spin. I think it’s just a design flaw more so over actual product malfunction or whatever. Their are absolutely better designs out there but dollar for dollar, this is hard to beat.

Excelling value for the price. Doubled my traction
Bought it because my 1wd open diff 05 F150 wasn't cutting it in the winter. Installation wasn't easy, unit fit a little tighter than old diff. I've put about 1,000 miles on it so far, with no noise or chattering or anything. I did use factory original ring and pinion. Note when planning out your project, that you HAVE to buy new bearings and races, the originals are pressed onto the original diff and there's no way to remove them without destroying them. The price on this can't be beat, especially if it's going on a vehicle driven primarily on the road, an auto locker would be the better choice for offroad.

Couldn’t ask for a better carrier for the price
Awesome quality Ford Motorsport product!Used to rebuild a grenaded 8.8 in a 1999 F150. This coupled with a Yukon rebuild kit and USA gear set had the truck back on the road in an afternoon. Only problem I had with it was the rear diff is worth more than the truck now! Lol
