Paired Easily, Works as Promised
After giving Dome Z-Wave door sensors a single star for inconsistent quality, I feel compelled to note that this plug-in switch has worked perfectly. It paired readily with my SmartThings hub and has performed flawlessly. I'm still suspect of Dome quality control, but can't argue with the value of this product.

Unreliable plugs
Started of somewhat ok with these plugs but they keep losing the hub. Purchased 3 months ago to work with a Harmony Hub and they have slowly gotten worse about disconnecting from the hub. If they do lose their connection, its extremely hard to get it back. Often times it requires deleting and re-installing the device. They are a nice compact size so its a pity they don't work well.

Great product but two switches won't fit in (my) outlet
I received two of these yesterday to monitor my washer/dryer. Set up completion alerts using Echo Speaks/SmartThings/WebCore. They work great! Only issue I have is that they are a tad too big to fit in one outlet. Not sure if I have a smaller form factor outlet because the YouTube tutorial I watched showed the guy plugging both into the same outlet. Just a word to the wise. Other than that, couldn't be happier.

Sensor came with batteries 17 mos old.
Sensors work pretty good but new from Amazon both boxes came with Dome batteries that were made June 2017 and one didn't have enough power to made the sensor work and the other one had 80% life. I expect better quality control.

Tells me when the Washing Maching Cycle is Complete
I bought this to be a repeater for some Dome Motion sensors and then tried it on our dehumidifier. At the recommending setting it overloaded it. I removed it and put it on the washer. I found an app that will watch the plug and tell me when the power drops. Now I get an alert when the washer is done. Love it!!Update 08/02/2018I tried this outlet at the other end of my house as a z-wave extender to help with an intermittent signal on my Fibaro motion sensor. The plug is small and range is short. I had to purchase four in order to get enough coverage for everything to work and place one in each room down the hallway. The Samsung outlet (zigbee) is a bit larger, but does have better range. However, with a device handler from github by krlaframboise this Dome outlet will monitor the wattage, the amperage, and voltage.Update 09/29/2018I recently bought another Dome device and I wish I had been able to see its options in Smartthings before, so here are the screen shots for this device.

Keeps losing hub.
Connection was easy, initial use was fine...Until the switch dropped the hub. Reconnected to the hub, lost connection within an hour. Plug was installed within 15 feet of my Wink hub, and initially appeared to work fine, but by the next morning the light it was controlling didn't shut off as scheduled. Looked at the app and the Dome Switch was off line. Unplugged and re-plugged, back on line, for about 30 seconds. Moved plug, moved light transformer, disconnected, reconnected, removed from power, plugged back in. Same behavior, connected for about 30 seconds and immediately went off line. Too much hassle. I purchased this to replace my iHome "Smart" Plug, each has issues, but the iHome at least stays connected until there is a power failure.

Plug overheated
I purchased the Dome plug on 28 July 2018 and put into service on 1 August 2018. I used it exclusively for controling a countertop water distiller which was turned on twice a day for 4 hrs each cycle. I used the plug an average of 8 hrs a day (2 four hr cycles) and 6 days a week. The plug advertised a rating of 1540 watts and my distiller draws approximately half that at ~750-800 watts which was continuously confirmed with the zwave app on my iPhone. The plug seemed to perform as advertised except that it felt very warm, even hot at times. The plug failed and stopped working on 15 Jan 2019 after operating approximately 1145 hours over 167 days. Upon inspection, the plug appeared to have over heated and melted a hole completely through the plastic on the receptcle side of the plug (see Picture). I suspect that the Dome plug is over rated at 1540 watts and should be rated about half that or less to be safely used.

Great!
Great little z-wave device. It is very small and discrete. Works as repeater and also provides info about energy consumption and cost. Works great with Smart things but be sure you install first Dome Handler to get all features out of it (energy consumption, cost...).The company provides handlers for all their products to be fully integrated with SmarThings. So far, after one day, works great, hope it will last.

Range not what claimed.
Purchased and installed two (2) Dome Plugs on to my VERA comptroller and are working fine. Then purchased an additional one(1) because of claims to have a range of up to 150ft. Trying to get to 60ft. Nope - range is less than 30ft. Neighbours wondered about my strange behaviour as connected Dome Plug to an extension cord and that’s how I was able to verify the 30 ft. Have other devices where claims of up to 150ft under same conditions and they all work. Even temporarily installed a booster and still unable to reach 30ft. Perhaps the extender is faulty.

Installed easily with my Samsung smart hub
Not much else to say. Its simple to install and it works, I bought several. The extender "function" helps out some of my other devices that were too far away.

Don't believe the 13A rating
The device this powered was using between 11.5 and 12.6A (I was graphing it and the cutout value was set at 13A). It ran fine for a couple of hours then it stopped. Went to check it. The plug was extremely hot so I pulled it out. It had melted and left the pin in the socket. See the pic.Don't use this on higher current draw stuff. The 13A rating I guess is just burst.
