I've owned two cloth mousepads before this, the Roccat Sense and the SS QcK. Having a hard polycarbonate mousepad makes a huge difference in how the mouse tracks and moves across the pad. I much prefer the smoother movement and more precise tracking it gives me. The pad is beautiful and professional looking (Fnatic is an esports team). It is very thin but the back holds on to the desk well and the material is sturdy and durable. It is packed like a vinyl record and when you take it out and flop it up and down it basically has the consistency of one. The surface is rougher than i'm used to coming from cloth mousepads but it actually does a better job of making the mouse movement feel smoother than a cloth pad.The mouse I am using with it is the Naos 7000. With the Naos 7000 software's surface recognition tool, the pad was able to give the mouse 100% recognition whereas the Roccat Sense gave it a 40%. The Naos is an optical mouse and i'm not sure how well it will do with other sensor technology

I used to have a Steelpad 4D which lasted many years but was wearing down. I was looking for replacements during a visit to Akihabara in Japan, and I came across this pad. I knew from feeling it that it would be a decent replacement, but using it for a few weeks now has really proven that. The texture is hard to describe - it’s a bit like very mild sandpaper, but not in a bad way at all. The initial “sharpness” of the grit becomes smoother and more pleasant with a bit of use- but I don’t see it wearing down any time soon — just like my old Steelpad. The grip is fine and bonded to the pad, but it’s not super sticky on matte finish desks like I have. Perhaps a slick shiny finish soft silicone would have worked better as the grip layer for my desk, but it should be fine on any kind of finished wood or glass desk. It’s also not like it’s just slipping around everywhere, but it might move half an inch after a particularly intense round in TF2. Overall, I’m not disappointed, and my Zowie, Glorious, and Steelseries DeX especially also struggle to stay in one spot on my desk, so I blame the desk finish more than any of these pads. If you’re looking for a hard plastic pad with some texture to it, you might really like this. See if you can feel it IRL first, because it’s not soft and doesn’t have a weave like cloth pads, but that’s the point. Ooh, and it’s stupid easy to clean; I just rub the surface down with isopropyl alcohol.

Quite large with plenty of room to move a mouse around. Grips my desk well enough that it doesn't slide around, even during intense gaming. The surface is hard with a bit of texture. There's very little friction, certainly less than any cloth mousepad. If you want as little resistance as possible, I'd definitely recommend this pad. Quality seems excellent and it looks like it'll hold up for a long time. If there were an extra long version that would fit my keyboard as well, I'd purchase it in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!!

I LOVE this mouse pad. It would be my main mousepad IF it actually stayed put. The rubber coating on the bottom does nothing to help it not move. Might as well be cheap plastic. But I taped it down and used it like that. Ghetto but good. That being said, it was just too fast for me personally. I wanted to try a hard mousepad to experiment and I got both the speed and control version. I like the both the same but they both suffer from poor rubber bottoms. If they didn't and they actually stuck to surfaces then I'd honestly just get used to the speed of them and they'd be my main pads.

This version is very rough and slow. It is not a speed mouse pad.

Well made with a great size. Don't have to pick up mouse to reposition when I run out of room..

Voir ma review pour la version Control:---J'étais un grand fan des surfaces Func-1030 quand elles sont sorties il y a de ça déjà pas mal d'années.Il était réversible, un coté lisse (équivalent control) et un coté rugueux avec moins de friction (équivalent speed).Quelques souris et autres tapis (tissus) de toutes tailles plus tard, j'en reviens au surfaces rigides et donc j’achète ici un de chaque en taille XL...Ayant joué (FPS principalement) sur le coté lisse du Func 1030, la version control est juste parfaite (en plus grand) : ça glisse mais avec un peu de résistance (moins qu'un tapis tissu) quand même.C'est sans doute au gout de chaqu'un mais avec la version speed j'ai tendance à ne pas savoir contrôler la fin du mouvement et dépasser les cibles.Bref pour le prix, aucun regret.---Offert à mon frère à qui ce type de revêtement convient parfaitement, il est aux anges comme moi avec le Control.

Excellent product, larger than I was expecting (but that's a good thing, size does matter here). Using a Sniper in Destiny 2 needs a lot of downwards mousing to keep hitting crits.I had the fabric type but was not happy (caused irritation after a long gaming session).This surface is perfect, very low profile, fairly smooth, and gives spot on accuracy. rubber backing is ideal, you can easily move it when you want to but is rock solid when in use.HIGHLY recommended.

This is the 2nd one I buy. I like it because:- very low friction. Mouse slides very nicely- robust, it's a hard mousepad- looks nice enough- great priceI'd like to see improved in a future version:- more grippy base surface.

ce tapis reçu aujourd'hui,j'étais sur un tapis type "tissu accélération" et passer sur un tapis polycarbonate est assez perturbant car se tapis accélère vraiment beaucoup (ou point d'être perturbant) se qui demande un peu d'adaptation. mais sinon très très bien.seul défaut le grip étant le tapis peu un peu glissé mais sa devrait s'améliorer.

I bought this mouse pad as a possible future replacement for my Steelseries 4HD mouse pad (as very similar and no longer in production), and it leaves me with good first impressions.The Good:-good price/value-accurate mouse tracking-fast mouse speed similar to Steelseries 4HD mousepadThe Bad or Not So Good:-mouse pad moves during gaming, needs to be taped down (on a glass table here).-consistency of amount of drag when ADS'ing (aiming down sight) is less predictable than my Steelseries 4HD mouse pad: in other words the mouse tends to have increased and slightly variable drag/friction on the surface when keeping a mouse button pressed down. I think that if I continue to use the mouse pad and it wears in a bit then I'm fairly certain it would become more consistent.I've gone back to using my Steelseries 4HD pad which is perfect but no longer available to buy, but I will use this FNATIC mousepad as a replacement when the Steelseries 4HD wears out. The FNATIC mouse pad is very similar in character, and only has a few minor negatives, one of which I think will disappear once the mouse pad is worn in. Very pleased to find a mousepad so similar to the Steelseries 4HD, and at an excellent price too.
