If you're trying to keep ducks out of your pool, THIS works!
I purchased these in late February, as I was having unwanted duck "tenants." In the spring during mating season, I usually have a pair of ducks that try to claim our backyard pool (and they dirty it with plenty of poop, as you can imagine). After chasing them out over a series of days, I finally got the idea to get on Amazon and see if there were any lifelike duck decoys -- both male and female -- that I could use to convince the persistent Mr. and Mrs. Duck that there was no vacancy at the inn. Though reviews were mixed on this product, the sizing seemed right and the decoys looked realistic in the online photos -- so I bought a male and female. I received them the day before leaving town for a week, so I put them in the pool immediately and was delighted to wake and realize the only ducks in my pool were the plastic impostors. (That held true during my time away, as evidenced by the lack of poop stains on our pool floor.) They've been "living" in my pool for about 3 weeks now and I haven't heard a quack since.

It's a good decoy decor
I bought this as a mate for a female decoy I got at a discount store. I also bought six yellow ducklings and they live in my swimming pool in the summer.

Keeps fooling local coyotes, dogs and even other ducks!
Bought this to mark, and hold the pull up line for one of the aerator heads in my large pond. I have two ducks, one for each aerator head. Works well! Had to use a little hot glue to seal up a few points where the mold parting left a slight hole. But since, it works great. Looks real enough to fool local coyotes and neighborhood dogs, even some other ducks!

Great looking decoy
I have the duck attached to a line connecting this to an aerator at the bottom of my pond. So the duck is in the water 24/7. After a few months it developed a leak (hence the 4 stars) but when I retrieved it and glued the seam shut again it's as good as new. It's realistic enough that my grandkids and dogs think it's real (and that's good enough for me!). It seems to be sturdy and was a good price.

My daughter loves it !
We raised ducks earlier this year, then released them to our nearby lake. it was a great learning experience and I wound up becoming very find of these interesting animals.. Just FYI - ducks are very social creatures. If you ever raise a little duck, please do whatever it takes to get another duck as when ducks are in isolation, they suffer quite a lot.. Anyway, the decoy is on a shelf and we love it - it reminds us of our feathery waterproof friends nearby in the lake ! ( and please NEVER feed them bread or human food - please give them duck food. They live on little fish, works, bugs etc... NOT bread please.. Thanks

Looks very lifelike.
Have this one resting in my small pond and have gotten many compliments over the months. Although the local birds don't pop in as often as usual for a drink and a bath lol. Adds a real nice touch to the landscape. So far it hasn't faded. I have a small anchor to keep it in one general spot otherwise it will block the outflow from the last teir in the waterfall. I need to add some ballast weights because now and then the wind will have it on its side, reminding me of the America's Cup boat the Duracell after hurricane Bob. Otherwise a great product at a great price.4 year update: Colors are just as beautiful as ever. It's survived 4 New England winters, even being frozen, covered in snow in the pond didn't affect it, no cracks or splits. Going to purchase another for my pool! My sister loves seeing it when she visits, even named it... Lucky.

Nice looking duck.
I liked the duck but I had to return it because it kept falling over on it's side.
