NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!! How hard would it be to include a single page instruction sheet. Yes i got it working but the trail and error method is just unnecessary (minus 1 star). The buttons are very inconsistant in quality. Some are great and some are so bad I could not use them. I am not sure how this could happen with such a simple product but you would think these came from multiple manufactures (maybe they did) and not part of a single set (minus 1 star). One of the USB controllers has a bad port so when you pressed the button associated with that port it would also trigger the buttons adjacent to it. As you can imagine this made playing some games impossible until I moved the button to a new port (minus 1 star). The Joysticks are great once you figure out exactly how to arrange all the pieces and get it plugged in to the USB control the proper way, but once set up properly the joystick is working great so we will call this a draw. Do not recommend this from the seller I purchased from since the quality is just not there.

See update. Works as described. Tough for some arcade games that would benefit from an eight sensor set up (jumping diagonally, etc). They function well and are easy to program. If you are programing through retropie, etc, programming is much easier if you make the set up of each joystick identical to avoid button mis-match.Update 3/2017 - I had flipped a piece on the joystick during installation, after correcting all fighting games work flawless. The paint on the first / second player are almost completely worn off, and now look just white. All parts function well and I am happy with the purchase.

The parts took a little long to arrive, but when they did, everything was fine. Nothing was missing, and the quality is excellent. The joystick tension is perfect. I'm using these on a converted Space Invaders cabinet powered by a Raspberry Pi, and it worked just fine as soon as I plugged everything in. I plan on buying more of these as I build more arcade machines.

I bought an old neo geo arcade unit and changed all the buttons and joysticks our using this set. They were easy to install and are working fine for all my games including Street Fighter, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat, etc. we beat these buttons up pretty hard and they are holding up just fine.

diagonal direction only works some ways acts as if only part 8 way stick and my player 2 button was broken no wiring instruction but was emailed later I think I may have defective usb encoders

Great quality. Thats it. Missing wires that are used for the (ground), and only came with 8 plastic button retainers instead of one for every buttons so half move around.

everything looks great, cant wait to do my arcade box and get them hooked up to the game.
