It is not just for coffee! I really wanted something to make dinner time for my doggies quieter, and they certainly appreciate the quiet. I feed them biscuits and then mix in fish or chicken and a little veggies. Often times they can hoover up everything but the biscuits with ninja like precision, so to combat that so they get their nutrients I purchased an electric extremely noisy grinder. Its horrible and does a poor job. Now the TIMEMORE Chestnut C2S is absolutely fantastic. It grinds with superb precision, always the same, every time perfectly ground up dog biscuits. (they are about same size as coffee beans) I have to say the grinder is lovely, its so well engineered and requires hardly any effort to grind. It also feels great to grind things up so well and not make any noise. Man, I hated the stupid electric coffee grinder, its like a power tool!

While I am not stupid, it took me a while to understand how to adjust the grinder setting. In my opinion, the instructions are not clear. After figuring it out, I am extremely pleased with how it works. Yes, the threads are super fine on the cup that catches the grounds, you simply need to be conscious of that and respect it. A video an older woman posted helped tremendously. I had my doubts about pour over coffee. After purchasing everything I needed, it produces a fantastic cup of coffee!! Yes it takes effort and it is time consuming and can be messy, but the quality of coffee is amazing! I searched Google for how many grams of coffee beans to use for a 13 ounce cup of coffee and it recommend around 26 grams. For me, that is insane. I use 13 grams and I am pleased with the strength of the coffee and flavor. By the way, it doesn't hurt to have a quality kitchen scale!! I use a paper filter in my pour over device mostly for ease of cleaning. The grinder is extremely well made and heavy duty. They engineered the handle perfectly. It operates easily and smoothly. You definitely know when you have finished grinding all of your coffee beans!!! I very highly recommend this product. Friday the 13th 2024. September.

Good grinder, about a minute to grind. This is my first manual grinder and I am glad I spent a little more money to get this as the quality is worth it. It a so easy to use my kids 5 & 9 can use it as they find it fun to grind the coffee for me. I would definitely recommend this product.

The grind is great - super even and fast. My main complaint is that the seal on the top chamber is incomplete, so some grounds come out the top as you grind (making a bit of a mess).

This is a delightful product. Feels like a piece of high precision machinery, and it produces perfect uniform grounds with fine control over coarseness. There's a confusing typo in the instructions though where it explains how to set the coarseness for different kinds of coffee making. It says to turn the dial clockwise until it cannot move any further and then turn it clockwise(!) various numbers of clicks to the desired grind. Obviously if you turned it clockwise until it couldn't move further, you're not going to keep turning it clockwise. It should say to turn it counterclockwise the specified number of clicks. Other than that this thing is great. Be aware that you can only grind about 0.5 ounces (1 scoop) of beans at a time. This is a perfect companion for an aeropress. If you use this with an aeropress, I recommend 16 clicks yields a great grind.

This is the perfect grinder to get into coffee as a long term hobby. It is well built, extremely enjoyable to use, and if you plan on drinking anything except espresso it gets the job done great. I use an Aeropress almost everyday and I switch which beans I'm using month to month, and it has done a great job for the past 2 months so far. A lot of people online recommend buying a $100+ grinder, but I think this one will last a long time and do as much as I plan on doing for the foreseeable future. If you're getting into drinking coffee as a hobby or want to get a good quality gift for a coffee drinker who wants to start using beans, I highly recommend this coffee grinder!

High quality, easy to use

This is made well and works great. I have a 25 year old Bosch electric that still works like new but the friction it creates seems to leave a slightly burnt taste. This machine gives a better flavor in a French press. Two loads for twelve cups is perfect. Cleaning is easy or not necessary really.

C3エスプレッソ用を持っていたが、あまりに使い心地が良かったのでセールされてたこちらを別場所用に購入。旧型だけど、挽き心地は変わらず抜群に良い。 セラミック刃にはもう戻れなくなってしまった。

かれこれ2年ほど一日2〜3回ほど使用してますが、まったく不具合なくて怖いくらいです。金属刃金属ボディのおかげと言ったところでしょうか。また、挽き心地も均一な粒度も素晴らしいものです。 で、ここからは不満点になります。 ・(C2は)蓋とハンドルが一体のため収納すると嵩張り、付けたままだと傾斜でクルクル動いたりバランス崩しやすい。 ・嵩張るよりも、重いためアウトドアに不向き。（オートキャンプ等には問題なし） ・冬はそれはもう冷たい。 などですが、その辺はもう欲張りってもんですね。それ以上に満足できてます。 アウトドア用にセラミック刃の軽い物も買いましたが、普段使いではまだまだお世話になります。

良いコーヒーミルを使うと本当に味が変わりました！まさに目からウロコでした。 これまでコーヒーメーカーの電動ミルや、かなり昔の手動ミルを使っていましたが、まあこんなもんかなと言う程度、美味しい！と思うこともあまりありませんでした。 しかしこのミルを使い、湯温や時間を試行錯誤しながらようやく、美味しい！と思うコーヒーを安定して淹れられるようになってきました。 これまでは外出先でコンビニやチェーン店でのコーヒーをよく飲んできましたが、今では家で飲む方がおいしく感じるようになっています。ちなみにそんなに高級な豆を使っているわけではありません。一度にマグカップ3杯分ぐらい抽出しています。 惜しいのはボディが滑りやすい点です。それでダイソーで買った滑り止め透明ラバーを貼ったところ、力が逃げず、とても挽きやすくなりました。おすすめです！

以前のモデルではハンドルの蓋部分がプラスチックで割れるとあり躊躇していましたが、このモデルから金属になり安心して購入しました。挽目の揃い具合や微粉量にはそこまで求めてはいないのですが、必要にして十分な性能だと感じています。狙った挽目が何クリックかはYouTubeとかでもあるので、あとは好みの調整をしています。

豆によってどの位の粒にすれば良いか手探り状態ですが、豆を挽いて珈琲の入れ立てを呑むのは至福のひと時です。ただたまに自動が欲しくなったりします。みなさん、豆の匂いはどうやってとってるのかな？
