It was dead on arrival. When I turned the computer, the drive rack would turn on and run the fan for a few seconds then turn off completely. The drives in it were never recognized by the computer. The power buttons on the front had no effect. I removed the drives and connected them directly to the motherboard and they worked. Started a return and awaiting a replacement. Update: I received the replacement and it has failed too. It powered on correctly for about 30 seconds then stopped working and is malfunctioning in the same way the previous unit was.

By default, the enclosure does not immediately turn on - the first time you plug it in you need to press the button next to the disk to turn it on. I was caught off-guard by this. On subsequent power-ons, the disks will automatically start. Once I figured that out, the enclosure is working great!

I bought this for my NAS. Mostly to store my 4K videos. Easy setup got no problems. So far so good.

The enclosure is a very tight fit into my case, very tight. getting it is scratched the pain off the enclosure. I know this because once i got it in i needed to remove it to change out the sata cables because the included ones were Dead On Arrival... the locks are very lose and can be opened with a pair of plyers. Fan is quiet

I’ve sent three separate message to the seller without a response from then. Item arrived missing all cables, screws and keys. Poor service from seller. Never again I would buy from them. From now on good old Canadian quality products only.

Amazing build quality with a sturdy, smooth and robust door eject mechanism. Top features too with an active fan (which is speed and temperature adjustable, and not loud), a temperature warning buzzer and power switches for each drive bay. An outstanding product found after trying four previous designs from other manufacturers which lacked either quality or features.
