Fast and very reliable are you recommended
Give me a good Wi-Fi signal and very fast and the ability to have poe through it, is very useful as you can connect up things like p o e cameras, and another plus is allegedly the Chinese government can spyit so if ever breaks hopefully they will send me to replacement straight away

Improved wi-fi and easy to configure.
Purchased this access point to replace a Netgear WAC 120, which worked fine on 2.4Ghz but suffered slow speeds on the 5GHz ac band. The TP Link unit fixed the issue and we now haves speed parity. The TP Link unit also comes with a handy user interface app, Omada, which allows you to configure the unit, set SSIDs etc from your phone, ipad or pc (the previous Netgear unit had to be connected to the pc via ethernet, which was a faff). I also purchased a TP Link 5 port PoE switch to provide power, and free up a plug socket. Performance had been seamless since install.

Works great with the free Omada Controller software
This can be used stand-alone, but I am using it together with other TP-Link APs. I have installed the Omada controller on a Linux VM so I can use all the APs in a mesh configuration. I don't feel that the system is enterprise-class, but more than adequate for home or small office use. The PoE pass-though is very handy.

Brilliant strong signal
Bought this to deal with poor WiFi in the house alongside BT full fibre 500. Very slim profile so mounted half way up the wall behind the TV at rear of the house and now get around 350-400Mbs around the house and down the garden with very very low latency. Having the 2 LAN ports and 1 Poe port on the plate makes it very useful. Only downside is the instructions aren’t very helpful if you aren’t very confident with getting your network up and running. As others have said use this is an extender so set up as a standalone and use the same SSID and logon as your existing network so you have one network with the same login info.

Good looking, high performance AP
I have three APs and they work well in combination with an OC200 controller. The only downside is missing DFS channels. I hope the feature will be made available in a future firmware update.

No POE injector included
OK I know this needs power over ethernet but I expected to be able to just use a POE injector (which would be supplied to do that). Instead however there is no power adaptor supplied and you need a POW switch or other method of introducing power to this AP. Description of the item could have been much clearer in this instance.

Great quality and easy to setup (with a PoE switch)
Awesome product, I needed a thin profile access point in my garden office qhich is about 100 feet away from my home.. this does the job - straightforward to setup and you will need a PoE Switch. Now I have 1gbps internet speed (wired) and 800 mbps on wifi =)

Not worth it. Get Mercusys instead
Didn't work terribly well and so tried Mercusys mesh network extenders. They work great. This product does not work well at any distance in a standard sized house
