I want to love it ... some serious flaws
This is a very well built sling for larger cameras. The metal clasp and mount is solid metal which makes it strong and heavy. I originally got this because it was the only design which had a mounting plate which allowed the camera to hang lens directly down using a protruding joint. Rather than the rest which use a sloppy and loose clasp on a tiny 1/4-20 screw. The strap feels nice and it is wide enough to spread the weight. However it is far too short, even with it fully extended. Plus the strap lacks a curve which allows it to fit snug onto the left shoulder. It is a great design, if only they considered a few things.Pros:- Solid metal construction- Ball joint clasp- Mounting base with non-slip grip- 6 possible 1/4-20 tripod mounting holes- Soft strap padding- High quality metal slider loopCons:- The plate blocks the battery door- Mount joint is offset too far to the right from center of gravity- The strap is too short- The strap lacks a curve for diagonal shoulder fitting- No documentation

A surprisingly nice sling.
This is exactly what I hoped it would be. A very simple comfortable camera sling that is surprisingly high quality. I am thrilled with how nice this turned out to be. My only gripe is that the design does cover the battery door on my Canon T4i so I will have to remove the sling to swap batteries. But honestly that's not a huge issue and I can hardly knock something with a universal fit design for not being tailor made to fit my specific camera model without interference. Besides this design is light years better and more secure than the slings that just have a little screw loop that threads directly into the tripod mount. Honestly I like it so much I'm thinking about ordering another one to have a backup just in case anything ever happens to this one, and I am going to be recommending it to my photographer friends.

3 stars for the mount plate, and plate screw.
It is ok, but nothing special, I am not big fan of the mount plate and then this sticking out piece of metal...sometimes I have a hard time to use my Canon 100mm f2.8 L IS USM Macro lens, it is kind of sitting little too close to the tripod.Other thing I do not like is the plate screw, when attach to camera body, I use big flat screwdriver, to keep it tight enough.

Short strap
Strap needs to be longer. The picture displays a long strap that's not true. I am 5 feet 9 inches tall and the strap stops at the middle of my rib cage. Luckily it didn't cost that much so I will give it to my smaller sized cousin who could probably use it.

Extremely heavy, poor design
The shoulder pad is huge and makes me sweat a lot. This thing is really heavy. It weighs almost as much as my camera. The worst part is how it hooks to the camera. After using it at a theme park for a couple hours, the screw had unscrewed itself. I let go of my camera thinking the strap was holding it, and my camera crashed to the pavement because the screw had completely backed out. Terrible design.

Piece of crap!! Do not buy
Do not buy this piece of crap. I thought it was metal or something. And I needed it for a job. For my backup camera. Which is really light. This piece of crap broke. Good thing I had it tethered. I could have dropped my freakin' camera and lens!!!

Well made, very satisfied.
Well made, the attachment seems very secure. Seems to hang the camera a little high but after using it for a couple of time it was not a problem. Delivery was very fast. Thanks.
