Almost a year of use and still amazing!
UPDATE: I have had this sponge for just under a year now, and it’s every bit as good as it was when I got it! I use it every single day, and soak it in vinegar & water once a month to sanitize. If it ever starts to deteriorate, I’m definitely buying another!! Photo was taken after almost a year of daily use!I spent quite a bit of time searching for an alternative to loofahs. Not only do loofahs gross me out by how much bacteria they can harbor 🤢 but they are also extremely wasteful. I was tired of contributing to the landfills. Anyway. I was skeptical of this, but IT IS AMAZING! It’s soft but exfoliating, it makes your soap go so much further with how easily it lathers, and it will last you a year! I love that you can just soak it in vinegar once a month and you’re good to go! I make sure to rinse out ALL the soap and really squeeze out the water before I hang it up to dry. 10/10

Perfect Sponge for Entire Body
For my small hands this is a perfect sized sponge to use on entire body. Soft and luxurious, suds with half the amount of soap applied and maintains the consistency. Quality and value are there for the price. Follow the easy maintenance instructions included to ensure longevity of the sponge. Amazing product and from all the sponges I looked I am delighted I went with this one!

No handle
This sponge is very soft and foams up nicely. Only thing it could use is a way to hang it. There is no loop or handle.

Better for you and the environment (well, except for the sponge)
While I do feel bad that the sponge had to die (yes, you're cleaning yourself with a dead animal -- Google it), I like to think of it instead as a great sacrifice that reduces the amount of plastics going back into the ocean. Like taking one for the team.My sponge was size-expected, about the same size as a normal luffa, and has lasted longer. It works better than a plastic luffa (think wet-dry sandpaper) at exfoliating and I've been using it once with soap (to get the dirt) and then again with just water for the exfoliation part -- you can't really exfoliate with a lubricant. Make sure to rinse it really well when you're done and let it air-dry between uses; I throw it on the shower door rail and haven't noticed any issues with degradation or smell. Would recommend.

I think I'll keep using these
What I love about it is that it's soft as heck yet has just enough abrasion to clean the skin. It collects soap really well, and I only use cold press soap bars and not liquid. I can tell after only a few uses that it's going to wear out much faster than synthetic sponges, but that should be obvious. Hopefully the wear time is equal to the time when it normally should be replaced. They are a bit pricey and can take a week or more to get them, so it's not a bad idea to get a couple to keep a rotation with.

Not What I Was Expecting
Was not as soft as I expected. In fact,it felt more like an exfoliating sponge. Very dense. Yes, there is a sea smell...but that is ok. Size was ok...a little large for my hand but still acceptable.

Better than sea grass sponge
I bought both this and the sea grass sponge at the same time. This one is better in several ways. Being a natural sponge I expected individual qualities and this particular one is softer on one side than the other, but I'm good with that since I like to 'scrub' some areas when washing, and treat other areas more gently. This size is a bit big for face washing but can be used for that and works in the shower as well. It is sturdier than the sea grass sponge that sheds a lot, is too soft for showering and had a hard 'stem' I had to cut out in order to use it at all. The structure and heft of this type of sponge when wet is more reliable and holds up better.
