Swiper Laptop Screen Protector for 13-inch MacBook Pro 5th & 4th Gen (Alloy)

I got this for my 13" MacBook Pro with Touchbar.The cloth does what's intended. It protects the screen when the laptop is closed. So I'm not seeing the ghost outlines of my keys on my laptop which is great.While the cloth does fully cover the touchbar, keyboard, and massive touch pad, you have to position the cloth just right otherwise the macbook won't have a tight seal when it closes. If you keep your laptop in a case, then it's probably not a big deal, but if you carry it by hand, it feels a bit off like the lid wants to open.All in all, it does the job that's intended, and they really can't make it thinner otherwise it won't have great protection. However, with that all said for the thin piece of microfiber I think it's a bit crazy to charge $15 + $3 shipping. $18 all in for a piece of microfiber is a bit nutz.In the end, I'd probably still purchase this over the failed attempts at plastic screen films that never seem to be bubble free. I hope in the future there are other competitors making similar microfiber products at a more reasonable cost.

Good shaggy. It keeps my screen and Touch Bar clean and safe. Don’t try to cram your top case down on it.

This cover fits perfectly on my Macbook Pro 13 inch with Touch Bar. It covers my keys and the Touch Bar which are my main concern. I like that it has the dual use of also using it as a cleaning cloth. The main reason I purchased it is because I hate how grease, makeup, etc or whatever build up on your keys and transfers to your computer screen. This has prevented that annoyance from happening. I'm trying to keep this Macbook looking perfect for as long as I can. Great product. I am going to recommend this to other people.

I wanted a screen protector because I didn't want a imprint of the keyboard showing up on my screen over time. I hadn't heard of ShaggyMax before but bought it because it covers the entire screen. It came quicker than advertised by at least three days, even though not a Prime-included product. It's all it's advertised to be and I'm sure it will serve me for the life of the computer.

This does what it says it does, but you should be aware that if you have a brand new Macbook Pro with the touch thing, the computer does not seal shut with the protector in place unless the protector is all the way forward on the front lip of the laptop.

I like it a lot. But I wish it were a bit thinner, because I cannot close my macbook computer completely.. That would have been perfect.

Pretty pricy, but it does the job it's intended to do, and does it well... I'd buy it again if it means that I won't have to deal with microscratches from the keyboard on the screen of my new MacBook Pro...
