Gloss Varnish Metal, 60ml

Perfect varish for cosplay.

A must buy for metal painted colored parts, gives them that true metal shimmer. NOTE: Instructions on the bottle itself is poor. Use the same rule as mixing your vallejo paints, stick with their thinner and their airbrush improver.

This could be the best acrylic metal varnish out there. It really does a good job maintaining the look of the metal paint. However, this stuff smells like "Danger Will Robinson." I've never quite experienced a varnish that I thought was trying to kill me.

Produces a nice shine, color-neutral even on tinted metallics, and sprayed nicely from my airbrush without thinner or flow improver. The resulting gloss is a little "colder" then what's produced by Vallejo's regular gloss varnish. This makes it nice for metallic surfaces, and looks a little bit more realistic. However, it definitely has a stronger odor than the regular Vallejo gloss varnish. It's not overpowering like some other products I've used, but while both their matte and gloss varnish products are fairly tame in terms of fumes, this stuff requires a more serious approach to ventilation.

This primarily used to add luster and shine to metallic paints, especially after the whole model was varnished in clear matt.

This made my metallics look so much better. I recommend using Pledge floor care as well but spend the extra amount for this. So glad I picked this up 👌

Good for polished, shiny armour, not good for rusted, tarnished armour however.
