Way better than any cable wrap.
These worked well in my XZY Pro 3D printer. I've been through 2 aftermarket cable protectors and all have eventually failed. This design allows the cables slide withought binding. It also distributes the force far better than any cable wrap can do. It is a bit of work to guide the wires through the internal chamber as you have to get the connector positioned just right, but I can assure you it does fit. I print quite a bit and am now comfortable in knowing my cables aren't binding and I won't ever have to re-wrap them. This should be used by all printer manufactureres when protecting constantly moving cables.A word of note is that this is not long enough to span the entire cable length for my printer. I knew that in advance and bought 2. They can be unlinked and re-linked to make the proper length. When properly sized this protector also kept the cable from drooping and interfering with the moving print head. As such, it fixed several issues I had with the old wraps.

It works once you break it in
It works once you break it in. I'm using it for my z axis wires on the x axis travel on my CNC mini mill.

but for a 3D printer it's not the best option.
The design does not allow it to lie flat without some force. In a CNC machine it should not be a problem, but for a 3D printer it's not the best option.
