Crover Jacquard Cotton Comforter

Deceptive marketing. The information clearly states "Made in USA". The product packaging (which had been conveniently covered by a label) states that the fill is made in the USA but COVER is made in CHINA. Sad. I had thought I was buying an American made product. And as others have stated it does indeed have an overwhelming odor. To me it smelled less like "chemical" and more "farmy". Well...kinda like sheep. I previously purchased a Wool comforter years ago off of Amazon and it was of MUCH better quality. It did not smell and was entirely made in USA. I will have to look at the manufacturer and perhaps replace this one.

It looks the same as in the picture. I have a very drafty bedroom with outside temperatures ranging from -10 C to 1 C at night and this comforter keeps me warm. The cotton material on the outside is soft. I was hoping this comforter would be machine washable but according to the packaging it was in, it is not. It must be dry cleaned. Therefore, I invested in a duvet cover for it because dry cleaning a comforter this size would get too expensive. I have only used it for a week and it’s currently cold in my area, so I can't say if it’s suitable to be used or not for warmer months. I expected the comforter to be denser but it actually feels quite light. I think it could have been filled with more wool inside. Nevertheless, it still keeps me warm. The comforter did not smell of anything when I opened it.

This is just as good as my old down comforter, but did not cause any animal to die... I love it!
