Travel Clock
Clock LED Back light and large number is the reason I chose for me. The down side is when setting the alarm lower right you need even with good eyes a magnifier to see the "Am" or "Pm"....Very bad design, I did not need the all the other times, and whistles. Just wanted large numbers, back light. I am keeping the clock since its not the fault of the company. I will most likely give it way, also as others which I read you have to tip clock towards you when laying down this was not an issue for me but possible missing an appointment due to setting alarm to "PM or AM" wrong is a biggie and 3 star is being generous.

Good clock but not crescendo volume, just frequency
Hi, this is a good clock, but "crescendo" generally means increasing volume, which this does not do. Instead the beeps increase in frequency. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it's still a decent clock so I'll keep it. It would be nice to be able to hear the alarm sound before purchasing an alarm clock!

works well
This clock works well. The alarm is loud enough, I sleep with a bipap machine and I can still hear the alarm. The big problem is to view the time in bed, you have to pick it up and turn it at the right angle to read it.The dual alarm works great my wife gets up before me then the alarm wakes me up. To see the temp. you have to press the mode button. Press the alarm button once sets one alarm, press again it sets the next alarm, press again it sets both alarms, press again and no alarm, nice. Have only had this alarm 3 weeks but it still works fine. I looked over a lot of reviews of other alarm clocks and couldn't find all of these features in one clock, also a lot of these clocks you have to pick up to see the time. Very satisfied.Amazon seems to have the best prices and selection and great reviews.

Don't want to carry the instructions everywhere
Push MODE to switch between the small display showing Alarm 1, Alarm 2, Time 2, Temp. Push and hold MODE to set the time. Didn't work. Ah, only if you're in the Temperature mode does it set the time! The alarm icons are so small, it's hard to tell if an alarm is set, even with glasses on. Similar for the alarm AM/PM. Push the light button and the display becomes almost illegible unless you're looking down on it 20 degrees or so. Will be returning this and trying another.

Best travel alarm I could find
This is a great little travel alarm. It's very lightweight, and small. It folds up, which is essential for me. I looked at a lot of travel alarms and I'm glad I settled on this one. It's as others say, the luminescent display is designed to be viewed below eye level, so at night, when I press the light button, I have to tip the alarm to read it. No big deal. Also, the snooze/light button tended to stick when pressed sometimes. This meant the EL display would stay lit, and would run the battery down. Once I realized this, if the light didn't go off after about 4 seconds, I'd press the button a few times & it would go off. I can also tell when it sticks because it makes just a "click" instead of the "click click" if the press has returned. I squirted a little silicone lubricant around the edge of the button, and this may have solved that problem. For me, best features are: the alarm is sufficiently loud but not too loud. I covered the alarm speaker hole with tape and it's just right. (not the hole with 3 slots, that's for air to enter for the temperature.) The alarm sound is a pleasant bip bip bip instead of irritating sounds that most travel alarms make. Also a very nice feature is when setting alarm/time, there are + and - buttons. I had an alarm I liked a lot, but to go from eg. 10 minutes to 5 minutes, you had to hold a button down and cycle all the way around. Don't overshoot, or ya gotta do it again. This one is pleasant that way. Wish the snooze was more than 4 minutes, but oh well. And having the temperature was essential for me.I gave it 5 stars despite my gripes, since it was the best I could find meeting my important features.

DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!
I'd give this item zero stars if that were an option (it isn't). The display is completely unreadable from nearly all angles and at nearly all distances, owing to a lack of contrast between the ghost display (88888...,etc.) and the current, desired display, except when very close to my face and indirectly lit. It's therefore worthless to me. I don't know if this is characteristic of all such units or if I just received a lemon. Whatever; I'll not buy this again, and you shouldn't buy it at all.

Clock Top-Heavy
In order to see this clock when you push the nightlight, you have to have it angled enough so you can view it easily. Because the hinge portion isn't very stiff it's almost impossible to accomplish this. This is a relatively minor problem and some of the other features make up for it.I wanted a clock with the temperature displayed on it and that's good and also the fact that the numbers for the time are large enough to see at night when I don't have my glasses on. It's very compact and easy to store in my pack (just took it to Massachusetts; worked out well) and very light.Overall it's a good travel clock and would recommend it to anyone trying to travel light!

handy
Very lightweight and directions easy to follow for simple use I have. The light is very easy on eyes. 4 star only because hitting the button for light to come on requires some effort, it usually takes me a few hits. That just might be my impatience at not hitting it hard enough in beginning though. I have little strength in my fingers.Well, the only other thing irritating is that the light is not enough to use the buttons in the dark. That is probably a good thing because then that means seeing the time in dark won't wake you up too much. It just means you have to set or reset times by having another light on therefore,
