The adrenal glands are located atop the kidneys and each consists of a central medulla surrounded by an outer cortex. The medulla produces adrenaline and noradrenaline, two catecholamine hormones which play roles in blood pressure regulation, vascular permeability and blood glucose level maintenance. The cortex produces over thirty corticosteroid hormones which are concerned with sexual functions, sugar metabolism, water/mineral balance and resistance to stress and pain (the glucocorticoid hormones). User beware
I used this for 4 days and began feeling horrible. Started feeling depressed and I have never been depressed in my life. My Dr advised me to stop immediately.I then did a lot of research and this product can actually cause your adrenal gland to stop functioning. There are no studies to back up the claims. They don't even know if humans can absorb animal adrenal concentrate. Go to your Dr and live a long life.
