So good with ramen!

Very small container for the price. I guess I couldn’t really visualize the size in my head when I ordered it. A little does go a long way in ramen though. Good for when you’re in a pinch and can’t find menma at any local stores. It’s not in chili oil like the kind I normally buy from the Asian Mart, but tastes good. I honestly don’t know which type makes a more authentic ramen, but I like my bamboo to have a kick to it. Ingredients are all in Japanese (I had to look them up) so it’s more authentic (and much better tasting) than getting the canned garbage from the grocery store. Probably will go back to the chili oil kind though, and won’t make the mistake of running out of menma again.

Extremely happy with the product. The package wasn't very large and it's an expensive product, but the flavor is perfect and they were honestly my favorite ingredient in the ramen I made. This is definitely an authentic product and something I will be buying again.

I went to amazon looking for menma after I scoured the asian stores in my area and I couldn't find it. This tasted great, definitely my favorite vegetable topping in ramen! The texture was similar to mushrooms, and it had a great umami taste that went well with my tonkotsu ramen.

The product itself tastes nice. I bought four cans but one of them was not sealed. It leaked and the seller won't respond to the replacement request. As I inspected the leaking can, I realized that it's product of China, instead of Japan. There were Japanese characters written all over the can, so I assumed they were Japan products, but they were not.

Menma is kind of a pickled bamboo shoot, and an essential ramen component along with half a soft-boiled egg, a little spinach, a pink-and-white swirly kamaboko, a piece of nori, green onion, and a little char-siu. Thanks to Amazon, I can always keep a few jars of this stuff in the pantry.

It's the real thing. Great for ramen topping. Bottle is small but it will serve 6 ramen bowls or more maybe. Doesn't keep long, even in the fridge, but that is normal for Memba. Have with others and eat fresh!
