A Commentary on Daniel Paperback – September 19, 2016

Really good explanation of the book of Daniel in the Bible. Each chapter of the book deals with one chapter of the book of Daniel. Very good explanation of the things that were happening when Daniel wrote the book in the first five chapters of the book. He does take liberty to interpret the last half of the book of Daniel. He seems to do a good job backing up his arguments, but then again, it is difficult to interpret the last chapters of the book of Daniel.

I love David Pawson’s work. He tackles every verse and sprinkles some anecdotes and testimonies but most is just good exegesis. I was challenged in every chapter study to consider something I hadn’t come across before. Used this a resource for sermon prep too.

I listen to David Pawson at DavidPawson dot org just about every day. I love his teachings. He's an authentic apostolic Christian. Everything by David Pawson is fantastic.

I found this book both fascinating and educational. David Pawson admits to not knowing that all his interpretation of the book is accurate but he does show from history fulfillment of many of Daniel's prophecies. David's thorough investigation into this book is amazing.A read of this must surely provoke feelings in you and hopefully action, whether that be seeking salvation, a change of lifestyle or desire to gain a greater understanding of the Word of God.

Really enjoyed reading this book. I love reading the Bible and Daniel is one of my favourite books. So much Prophecy and History. I certainly learned a lot from reading this book by David Pawson.
