I'm honestly not sure that this product made much of a difference. I've never had one before so I can't compare it to another, but I bought in hopes of ridding a strange odor in my bedroom. It's not a very large room so I figured that with this things size it should be able to handle it. However, I've not noted much of a difference in the smell. That doesn't really mean it's not doing anything I guess, just that I haven't noticed it.*I received a discount on this item but was not asked to review in exchange. I review products hoping that it helps others make a decision
