Should I expect the filter connections on this Hayward SP0410X502S to exactly lineup to a Hayward DE4800 Filter tank? Besides the 2 filter connects, are there 3 other connector openings on the diverter?

When I changed mine they lined up to the filter properly and same for the fronts, just make sure you plumb enough on the two front ports that you can cut away and re-glue things as necessary; think somebody posted this in the reviews and I almost forgot when I did mine. The bottom drain I never glued, just jam in the elbow when I backwash.
