Purple Harmony Pillow - Medium Loft, King Size - Cooling Gel Neck Pillow

Im a side sleeper who uses a cpap (nasal pillow mask) , im a male 5’10” 250lbs with broad shoulders (for reference) . I have the medium height pillow and realized that the pillow wasn’t tall enough to cover the gap between my neck and shoulder, so I purchased the tall pillow and wow what a difference they little extra height made. The pillow is firm and soft and supportive at the same time (just like the medium height) the filling is cooling and I don’t have to adjust the pillow at all. I would have gave the medium the same rating if I was smaller in stature. They are expensive pillows but if you get the correct size then it’s worth every penny

Right out of the box and it's the best night sleep I've ever had.... and I haven't even been able to go to bed yet and try it out!! 💜 That is how amazing this pillow is, I can simply tell! It's so s o f t but the tall size makes it puff up off the bed so your head is not sinking down consuming your head because it's so soft. Also the purple hexagon cover slip provides a soothing covering over the pillow inside allowing the customization to fit and mold for your personal support. Yes all the way. Blessed dreams!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been really impressed with this pillow. It provides great support for my neck, and I no longer wake up with neck discomfort. The height is just right—not too high or too flat—so it feels very comfortable whether I’m sleeping on my back or my side. As a side sleeper, I also love how cool the pillow stays throughout the night. It doesn’t trap heat like my old pillow did, which has made sleeping much more comfortable. One unexpected bonus is that my snoring has actually become less noticeable since I started using this pillow. I can’t say the pillow alone is the reason, but I’ve definitely seen an improvement. Overall, it’s comfortable, supportive, cooling, and well worth the purchase. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a better night’s sleep.

I was looking to replace my old latex pillow from BBB. I have tried several but finding just the right one has been elusive. Although expensive, I was confident this would be THE one. Sadly, it isn't. For a latex pillow, this IS really nice. It is comfortable and solid latex - hard to find. It is medium-firm and has decent spring back. But for me, it doesn't have enough sink. It is actually too firm and I felt my neck was cranked all night (I am 5'6", 135#, side sleeper, ordered the 6.5" one). I do think the cooling Purple grid works pretty well but at the same time, I could feel the grid under my pillow case. The pillow is very heavy.

I really struggle with pillows. They’re never quite right. I paid a lot for Coop pillows that give good support, but I’d wake up with an earache as it compresses into a hard surface like many foam pillows. And so many pillows get sweaty hot. This Purple Harmony pillow is the first one I’ve truly liked. It stays cool, magically offers great support while staying soft and doesn’t compress into a rock hard slab. It’s a bit heavy for a pillow, but you don’t notice it at all when sleeping on it.

Original review about $30 return below, but since it cost to return I gave it to my husband. He’s a hot sleeper so other than this pillow we’ve switched to all cotton, linen or wool bedding and it’s made a huge difference. (Polyester is plastic so it reflects your heat back to you and makes you sweat more and doesn’t breathe.) I truly would not have kept this pillow except $30 felt like a waste just to return and he got excited about it. So okay, it’s his. Well I’m the laundry queen in our household (he does all dishes) and I realized very quickly this pillow would need to be washed OFTEN. Like, once a week is NOT enough. Something about body heat and this material smells HORRIBLE. Washing it is obviously not easy, so I handwash the outer layer of the pillow with a very gentle soap (bought for silk). And then it has to hang dry. It doesn’t matter. I can clean it perfectly, no smell remaining whatsoever, but after two nights, it’s so strong I can smell it JUST STANDING NEAR THE BED. Look. I mentioned my hubs sleeps hot, sure. But he’s hygienic. This should not be such an issue. It’s never been an issue with any other pillows. The smell doesn’t even smell like him or like B.O. or anything. It’s awful and legitimately churns my stomach. But can I throw out the stupid $200 thing? Noooo. Now he’s attached. And I’m spending hours of my life each week washing it to keep from feeling sick sleeping near it at night. And to avoid having wasted $200. Hate this thing. DON’T BUY THIS STUPID PILLOW. Dropping from 2 stars to 1 Because of the smell. Original review: I thought I could buy this and see if the height would work for me. It didn’t, and pinched my neck instead. But now the *only* way to return it is to ship through UPS (not return to the UPS Store or Kohl’s or Whole Foods, which would be free). I was going to return it and try a different size, but such a high price just to *try* it is not worth it to me. I’ve returned much larger (defective) items in the past without hassle or cost (like an entire heavy duty garage shelf with broken pieces). Had I known, I would not have ordered in the first place, so I hope this saves someone else. As for the pillow itself, it was unique, but I couldn’t even really lay my head on it for more than a moment until I had let it air out for more than a week. It REEKED upon arrival. My husband said it smelled like ozone, and my brother compared it to the inside of an airplane. It burned my throat if I tried to lay on it for more than about 30 seconds at a time. Two and a half weeks later, the smell is still slightly there. So even if it was comfy for me, I would not keep this pillow.

This is the second time that I have purchased one of the Purple pillow. They are a bit strange but do they work. I will continue to purchase these pillows unless something better comes along. They are on the expensive side, but what is a good night sleep worth to you?

Great pillow that’s comfortable but it didn’t last that long for me. The gel matrix destabilized and now it’s in clumps. Maybe that was my mistake for putting it through the dryer. It was past the one year warranty mark so there’s nothing customer service could do for me. They offered me a 10% discount but it’s not enough for me to purchase a replacement to try it again.

Was a little skeptical, but haven't had the best of luck finding pillows I like, as I'm very picky about this. And when I do find them, they never seem to last. I don't like memory foam (too firm). Decided to try some latex pillows and ordered this one along with one other. So figured I'd give this a try and if I didn't like it, just return it. Well it arrived the other day and I LOVE it. It's very malleable. I always spend some of my downtime in bed reading my kindle. So I like to lay on my side when I do this. It works great for that. Head is at the correct height and if I bunch up the pillow just a little, I can be right on the end of the pillow so I can read my kindle that's propped up on the bed. I also sleep on my back a lot. Again, this is working great for that. Constant support throughout the night. It's hard to describe. It is very comfortable and has lots of cushioning. But it also has a firmness to it that supports my head. It doesn't have that pure softness that other pillows have. But that little firmness is what I assume allows it to keep doing it's thing all night long. And that firmness, isn't so firm as to cause issues, just enough to keep things supported. I was hesitant about it... but am so glad I decided to give it a go - worth every penny. Now it'll just be a matter of how long it holds up. Pillows I've had in the past (even expensive ones) rarely lasted longer than ~14 mths, but none of those were latex ones... so will see.

Great product. But the ‘Tall’ is too big by for your average person. As getting neck sprain. Will need to now purchase the medium one. Smells a little.

I was scolded for how much I would spend on this pillow but seriously if you care about quality and your sleep, this is the pillow for you! I low how squishy yet firm and supportive it is! And stay cool! Very happy with my purchase!

Very, very ridiculously expensive BUT, WOW—so worth it. I’ve spent a king’s ransom on pillows throughout my life trying to find the “right” one to no avail. Well I finally found it. Praise be to God! I’m a happy sleeper now! No guarantee came in the box. I thought it was to come with a 90 day trial guarantee—maybe not, doesn’t matter because you’ll have to snatch it from my cold dead arms. God willing I’ll be able to afford a second one someday. Only downfall— there was an initial bit of some kind of off-gassing odour, but nothing horrendous and it did disapate.
