This is not a once a year item! Anyone who decorates on a regular basis would love a set. The snowflake rope is perfect for weddings, birthdays, Christmas or any other celebration. These are definitely awesome bright lights for accenting any display. After Christmas I am going to use these to decorate my cubical at work. I have a small space at work without any electrical output. I can see me using this light to display holidays or season and I am sure all my coworkers will be amazed.As you can see in the pictures provided by Coolmix the lights are strung together on a thin cord - this is important because no only does the cord need to be hidden but the snowflakes need to be positioned where you want. Being made out of thin wire cord allows for précised placement of each snowflake with little showing of wire.There are different seven different setting so the lighting can be controlled by remote according to you needs. The lights themselves are water proof but the battery box will need to be protected from rain if you chose to place outside. This can be accomplished by placing in a zip lock baggie and turning upside down so water does not come into the bag.Of course I just received these snowflake lights so I cannot testify to how long they will last but they are made very well. I foresee many years’ worth of use. I made a video hoping to show a little bit more about the product. If my review has been helpful please let me know.

I have rated this product at 4 stars because I am not sure how long the leds will last, however I will say that I am very satisfied with these little snowflake lights. They add exactly what I wanted to our Christmas tree, they have multiple patterns and are a very blue-white light. They compliment our cabin themed tree perfectly, and they’re on a wire based string, so they’re plyible and easy to menuver on the branches.They come with a remote with multiple settings, along with a timer feature, on/off, 2/4/6/8 hours as well, you can also set it to solid, various blinking patterns for faded patterns. All in all, these are great! And super cute! I just hope that after a few weeks of use they still hold up, and I can’t wait to use them again next year. They’re going to be a new stable to our festive decor.

The media could not be loaded.  These are an interesting string of lights. First, they are battery operated (3 AA). Perfect because I don't have to worry about where to place them (so many lights are USB powered). What is interesting is that there are different settings for the light. You can change the settings from the buttons (as you can see from the video) or you can use the remote control. There is also timers that you can set. I also love that these are copper wired so they can be manipulated for any accents. Once I finish getting my dining room table together, I plan to use this as my centerpiece. Than after the holidays, hang them up on my fireplace where the stockings would've been. They are very bright and look delicate. I really wish I had a banister to string these down (we live in a rancher). Great addition to my winter decor.

These are absolutely beautiful. The snowflakes are about the size of a nickel and show up so brightly. I plan on buying at least 2 more sets. Love the timer, lighting options from morphing to flashing and the remote. You have an excellent product. I have compared these to others at higher end stores and they don't hold a candle to these.

I have been buying a lot of Christmas decorations lately and these came I put them away and just took them out this morning to hang on my mantle with my stockings and decorations. They are very dainty and beautiful. Perfect with my pine garland and some foil stars. The all lit up perfectly and have a great bright light. Wish I had bought more!

These are lovely. I bought some for myself and 2 for gifts. Mine are a snowfall in a large jar. My sister's are in her mantle display. My friends are worked into a natural wreath. We are all very happy. The thin silver wire requires care in handling but it's thinness is what makes almost disappear and allows it to shape so easily.

Thes lights would make a cute runner along a fireplace or some type of mantle. They are as pictured. It not enough to light a tree. I am putting them across my pass through to add some holiday cheer to my room.
