what is with the highway robberythe markup since to buy at any store in areas that sell them is $4.00 doz

I live in Ontario Canada, originally from Philly area... This seller is Price Gouging, plain and simple. This should be illegal! I'd rather Drive 15 hours than pay $102.00 for 2 dozen rolls. That's $4.25 Per Roll! For That price, it better come with free Steak!

Whats the best way to thaw/defrost them so they taste there best?

I had to freeze mine because they were delivered early. I left them wrapped and in the bags as they came and froze them. About 24 hours before we used them, I took them out and left them on kitchen table, still wrapped. They turned out great.

How long can these be kept in the freezer?

ive had mine in there for 2 months and still good!

Is this the real hoagie roll that they use at delis and come in the big boxes that they leave at the door in the morning, or is the bagged kind

Hi Robert,The Amoroso Hoagie Rolls that we ship to you are delivered to us fresh from the bakery in the morning. They come in large racks (boxes) and are packed 3 dozen per rack. We pack 2 dozen in a heavy plastic bag then in a corrugated carton for purposes of shipping to you via next day or 2nd day delivery. You should store them in zip lock bags in your freezer. When you need rolls, let them thaw at room temperature for an hour or so and they'll be perfect. If you need to know more you can call me at 800-954-8294. Worth the cost

I've been eating these rolls to the exclusion of anything else. Even tried them with Swedish meatballs. Wonderful. Recommend toasting them. adding cheese and toasting the top. Then add all your other ingredients.

Great rolls when they were 11" and presliced, now come in a thrift packaging, with expired date full of white and blue mold. Can believe I wasted my money. You had a good customer
