Inexpensive EDC tool that feels good in your hand
- ITEM: Grown Man™ Survivor Multi Tool (Black)- PROS: Inexpensive EDC tool that feels good in your hand. Plier joint is smooth out of the box and the tool unfolds crisply ready for action. The knife’s blade comes with a great pre-sharpened edge and the points on the saw tool will do some damage. I cannot stress enough how much I like the locking mechanism for the tools! There is an audible click when locking the tools in place and the release lever allows you to put each tool away with ease.- CONS: I’m not crazy about the black finish on the tools. The finish will fade with use, but this is more of a personal preference.- FINAL THOUGHTS: This is not a Leatherman. This is however the best value for your money when you take into consideration you could easily buy 4 of these by the time you’ve bought one Super Tool 300. I will look into buying the “CAMO” color with more of what seems to be a stonewashed finish for my next purchase.

I have enjoyed using the Grown Man Survivor Multi Tool
I have enjoyed using the Grown Man Survivor Multi Tool, it's relatively seamless mechanics make for easy opening/closing and getting to the various tools. The tool line-up is standard in comparison to most other multi-tools(e.g. Leatherman, Victorinox, etc.), though the price you pay for this knife is substantially less. The internal spring design works very well for this knife, giving it a very robust feel, and good for multi-purpose use in outdoor settings. The tools are also coated black, which will likely wear off over time and use, but will doubtfully affect the tools themselves. Overall I would definitely recommend the Grown Man Survivor multi tool.

I don’t recommend this item after using it for a couple months.
I liked this knife when I got it. One of the bolts on the closing hinges has fallen off and now it’s really wonky. I wouldn’t recommend buying. The multi tool is one of the fastest tools I have and I use it a lot. This couldn’t stand up to the stress, demand and work I put on it. I would recommend either a Leatherman or Gerber or Dewalt multitool you can find in Home Depot.

affordable and sturdy
For a multi-tool under 15 bucks it holds itself together pretty well, I use this multi-tool in an industrial setting. I enjoy the fact that it is spring assisted once opened. The only problem I've had is that the included holsters belt loop broke on me but its an easy enough fix

Its a good tool for light fixings but I feel it would come apart under heavy use.
