clear teaching
I really enjoy the topic and the clear manner this study uses to teach these subjects. I find that most of this type of book follow the same pattern, and this is not different in form, but the material is presented by different teachers and is very thought-provoking and entertaining. I'm sorry to say I need entertainment to stay involved, but it helps the focus. Most definitely a good addition to your library.

Getting to know your gifting side
We used this in our men's bible study group and it was very enlightening in helping us to learn about our Spiritual Gifts. It got me engaged in searching for the best ways to apply the gifts I have received to better serve and lead others. A true blessing and only one part of the 5G's series that have helped to bring our group to a different level.

Don't think it'll help you figure out your gifts.
We used this for our small group as a Bible study, but it wasn't that great. You keep thinking it's going to help you figure out YOUR gifts, but it doesn't. It also includes a lot on charismatic gifts (tongues, prophecy, etc.) which I personally don't believe exists in this age. We supplemented it with a gifts quiz that our church provided. But still...ehh.
