Q: No where in the description does it state if these are freeze dried or dehydrated. Two very different processes.

This item is Dehydrated. Thank you for asking and bringing this to our attention. I will make sure we update the description.

Q: Is this precooked to the extent that it would be possible to reconstitute and eat cold? How much longer does it take without boiled water?

I reconstituted with hot water (135°). I let cool and, after most of the water was absorbed, added wine vinegar, salt, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, etc., and made a relish-like sandwich or salad topping. It could also be used on top of eggs and other dishes. Just realize that the veggies will maintain some chewiness but it's not a bad thing. It adds texture to whatever you add it to.

Q: Why does the price change everyday? It ranges from $12 to $27.

Q: How many cups per can

There are 40 servings and each servinging is 1/4 cup you can do the math , i need 2 servings for myself when i make it .
