Fantastic!
First off, the 5-movie series is finished and available. It’s not sequels, its five chapters. Amazon has the order mixed up. The correct order to watch this incredibly entertaining 510 minute (8 ½ hour) movie is:Mythica: A Quest for HeroesMythica: The DarksporeMythica: The NecromancerMythica: The Iron CrownMythica: The GodslayerThe story has flaws, like all movies, but it is well told and suspenseful. The Characters end up being rather complex and grow with the experiences they find themselves thrust into. I thought the acting was fine and found myself rooting for all of them. I binge watched the whole thing one rainy Saturday. It was fun; the day flew by. The story could have been told in less time, but then we would have less movie to get lost in.I'd rate it PG-13 for violence and mature themes.Special note: The scenery was spectacular; I guessed New Zealand, but they claim it’s Utah. Who knew Utah has places like that.

Best characters ever
Two male characters really stand out in this thrilling sequel with the fancy Nether portal that leads to discount Smaug's lair. The Whizzking and Tattface are two shining stars in a sea of flat characters like the Brunette and that creepy red-headed girl. She gives me the creeps just thinking about her. Isn't there another dude? Oh yeah, that fat bearded man, but he's so wonderfully memorable that I forget his existence throughout the movies. The wonderful Whizzking saves the day by whizzing and scaring away the creepy naked lady. Ew naked priest woman. That sounds rhetorical but that's literally what happens. Idek how that red-headed lady likes that fat guy. Like, how does she remind herself that he exists? Sticky notes? Anyway, throughout the movies, the Whizzking is by FAR the best actor. His actual name is Jake(yes I know his actual name. Pretty sure his character's name is Deagan, but honestly Whizzking sounds more formal.), go follow all the Jakes you know on social media in case it's him. I ship him and the Brunette from here to the next galaxy. but only because he likes her and I want him to be happy. Next on our list is Tattface. Ah, yes, Tattface. The king of abs and tattooed faces. Though his is only with us for a short time, his glorious abs left an impression that almost matched the Whizzking(but not really.) He tried to kill my ship and died trying like a looser, but hey you can only say he tried. Kinda embarrassing that she met him while he was getting destructed by Tinkerbell and friends, but obviously she just liked him for his body. Or maybe his ploy with all his tatts was to be womanly interesting. He's really just become a massive meme at this point, what with his absurd character screentime and the seemingly random love interest with the Whizzking's girly-friend. How he died sucked tho. Like it sucked ice cream. He should have died when Tinkerbell was attacking him, then it would have made his meme-life even better. "HI IM TATTFACE LOL BYE I DED". I mean, getting stabbed in the balls is meme-worthy too, but idk Tinkerbell doing it would have been funnier. And yes, I have absolutely no idea what Tattface's actual name is. OVER ALL, Mythica is a great movie, and an even better meme. 10/10

Really quite good for low-budget fantasy.
Pros: - Some very entertaining acting if not exactly great acting; it's much livelier than a lot of comparable movies. Most the actors seem to be having fun with their roles. Melanie Stone, the lead, is quite charming and both her acting and her character are a lot more interesting than the typically bland, pretty female main character one finds in a lot of fantasy and adventure. And for Critical Role fans, Matt Mercer briefly appears as the big-bad.-The costuming is excellent.-There's some excellent locations, and good sets considering the budget.-It has well executed variations of the various story and character clichés of the genre, even if they are, indeed, cliché.-As in the first movie, the clichés also seem to be in part to replicate the feel of a Dungeons and Dragons party and campaign, so if that's your bag they may be a feature rather than a bug. They are pretty emphatic about it being a standard, old school, Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, Wizard party composition., though in this episode they added an additional party NPC.-There is nothing phoned in here; it was clearly made with a lot of love.Cons: -Some lame special effects. It's especially a shame because the production design is otherwise excellent.-Dull fight choreography. The big fights are generally not the high points.-It rarely strays from genre cliché. While I've said above why that is not a huge problem, it still means this is not exactly the most creative fantasy tale you will encounter. The wizard lead character is the only member of the party not made to be the most stereotypical possible version of their "character class".-To me Nicola Posener (the priestess) seems a little wooden in this role. I wouldn't be surprised if she's better in other things, she just doesn't seem to quite work for me in this role.Verdict: It's not Lord of the Rings, but compared to most other big-budget Hollywood takes on medieval fantasy it is really a better product. Compared to other low-budget indy-projects in the genre it is way above par, and so by that measure I'll give it five stars.

Very Disappointed...
I watched the first episode and was pleasantly surprised despite the medium production and uneven acting of some of the cast. This second installment, however, really fell off a cliff (writing wise) and the same main cast that performed admirably in the first one, seemed to struggle with the material. I was excited and had high hopes based on the first episode but was very disappointed after the second and stopped watching.

Great Fantasy Movie
I really like this series. If you can get past that it is a low budget series and not think too harshly about that, I think that you will really enjoy it.

Best Fantasy Franchise in a Looong Time!
Loooooove all of these films. We only decides to watch these films because we are huge fans of Mathew Mercer and the show Critical Role. As Matt and the Crit Role gang are part of our weekly routine and one that we look forward to every week; we decides to give the Mythica films a go. My husband and I are always up for a bit of fantasy escapism and these films arw absolutely that. We enjoyed all of these films so much that we have the next ones on pre order and have had movie nights with our friends who then are going out and buying the whole Mythica set as well!Seriously, a film that allows you to just escape and enjoy is a rare pleasure these days. Canbot wait for the next one!!!

Not bad.
As good as the first film. The acting isn't great at times and occasionally the cgi is a bit off but once you get passed that, it's an enjoyable film and I look forward to seeing the next one.

The story continues in a similar vain to the first film, developing both plot and characters in a natural manner.
This movie followed on from where the first movie 'Mythica: Quest for Heros' finished. The relationships between the main characters continue to develop; there is an undercurrent of distrust of Marek due to the way in which her natural magical powers draw upon others...This film has the same flavour and qualities of the first film, and provides a natural progression of the story. So if, like me, you enjoyed the first film you should also enjoy this one.

So much fun!
Clear sign that seasoned actors and a large budget aren't the most important things when it comes to making a movie. The people involved obviously have a lot of passion for the piece and I had a great time watching this campy fantasy tale!Like hawk the slayer this film is a must for B movie fantasy fans!
