Kitchen gadgets tend to be gimmicky and take up more space than they are useful.I'm not much of a cook, so I tend to avoid doing things that are extra messy. Sadly, it's one of the reasons I don't like making pancakes. (Pathetic right?) I hate the bowl of mix with drops everywhere on the counter, the measuring cup used to scoop the mix, that either needs its own plate or it falls into the batter bowl and you have to fish around for it.I picked this up on lightning deal or something - figured I would give it a try. Well, for a little plastic tool, it's a game changer in our house. It was so easy to handle that I ended up teaching my 10year old how to make a simple mix and fill this and make pancakes. She made me breakfast the next day. My husband supervised a bit - but she was able to do most everything herself.Because you can control the dispensed amount so easily, you can make tiny pancakes - which were easy for my daughter to flip. This tool would make it easy to have a batch of batter in the fridge and put it in it for a couple quick pancakes on a busy morning before work/school.This also is a great tool for dispensing cupcake batter interested the tin - so you don't get drops everywhere in the pan.I think you could prepare a large batch of scrambled eggs and dispense one serving at a time.This was super easy to clean. Because the batter sits in it for the duration of cooking you would think it would be a dried up mess - but putting the lid on helps with that. All you have to do is fill it with soapy water, rub with a sponge and dump it out - then I do a second cleaner soapy water wipe and then squeeze the handle and let the soapy water run through it.Even if it broke tomorrow I would buy another because it's usefulness makes it worth it. I will say - it feels plenty sturdy, easy to grip and dispense. I think it is great that you can put less batter in it - so that children or someone with strength issues or arthritis could still manage it and have more ease.I'm getting another one to give to a family member that we visit every summer. She always gets up and makes my kids pancakes every morning for the week we stay with her. My kids look forward to our visit and know her as 'the pancake maker.' This will be a great thanks to all the fun morning spent in her kitchen.

Our first order was damaged. The folks at Heavenly Kitchenware responded without question and remedied the situation. They were fast, courteous and helpful. I don't think I have had customer service that good in years! I haven't used the dispenser yet for pancakes. I bought it to cleanly and easily put soup into small individual serving cups for a party. It worked great!

Got it. Used it. It does a good job dispensing the batter. The reason I didn't give it a four or five is that I had to mix the batter in another bowl, pour the batter from the bowl into the dispenser, and then dispense the batter. If I could mix the batter IN the dispenser I would have given it a better score.

Works. My daughter is happy to make her cupcakes with this. She's only 5 so this is a lot easier and cleaner than her scooping all the batter out cupcake by cupcake. It comes out a bit slow though, especially when it's 1/4 or less full towards the end.

I really like your product, I 9nly wish is that it was easier to clean and able to hold more than 4cups worth of product.....it was as I expected during use and did require an extension wire brush to clean ....all in all a good product but not cleaning friendly!!

I bought 4,one for myself and one for each of my daughters. We love this awesome gadget!! We all know what a mess it is to pour batter into cupcake tins and drip batter no matter how careful you try not to. Not anymore, no drips, no spills, just a fun way of having control when it comes to messy batter drips. Oh....did I mention pancakes? Or waffles? This is a must have for every kitchen!! The kids love love it too and the clean up is a breeze.

It would be helpful if it had additional gradations on the side for measuring -- like a measuring cup. Say every 1/3 of a cup...Otherwise it works well. haven't had handle issues like others have discussed.

Received this a few days ago and used it for the first time today when making waffles. I absolutely LOVE this and do not know how I lived without it for so long. I was able to make my waffles without any drips or mess. I can't wait to try it with pancake mix and for making cupcakes. This is going to be a game changer when I'm baking!!
