Although this ruler can function by itself as a traditional ruler, it has some extra capabilities. Specially designed holes on the ruler allow it to be rotated around a center pin, allowing you to use it as a compass and when used in conjunction with the degree scale tools from circle perfect tools, you can quickly rotate, mark and draw straight lines at measured angles (i.e. Goniometer).

Excellent quality
Product worked great but it was bought for school and was larger than a normal ruler. This is more for professionals that a kid of course that is probably why it was pricey
