Board holes and insisting stump and treated prior to surrounding stump with fall plantings. Will examine and spring and retreat if necessary.

I have completed all of the steps except setting the kerosene on fire. The two stumps I'm battling are right next to my vinyl fence. It will melt it.

Takes Time
If you are in no hurry, it will work. I have old stumps crumbling from treatment years ago. The new ones look well on their way. Beats renting some grinder to take them out.
