Perfect fit on my Dell laptop. Did exactly what I wanted, which was to take me from a power cord that wouldn’t stay plugged in to a good solid reliable connection. What else is there to say? It’s a power port and it worked and fit perfectly.

This was an easy replacement. It was plug and play that was small enough to fit inside the laptop. The cost was a great buy and it was the right part for my brand of laptop.

I have a Dell Inspiron 3500. This was easy to install and fixed my issue, works perfectly. I only had to remove the bottom case panel and move a small steel brace out of the way. My port was worn out to the point I had to position the cord just so in order to get it to charge. I installed this, pu the panel back on and plugged it in. The little charging light came on immediately without any fussing with the cord position. Very good and half the price of buying direct from Dell. Glad I finally got this done as I had been putting it off for about 6 months.

This is exactly what I needed. After torturing myself for months, maybe years carefully rigging the power cord to charge my PC, I finally got this when I no longer could make it work. Now it charges like a new PC! Do yourself a favor, get it now. The process to replace is easier then you imagine. Most of the time is the careful process of unscrewing the tiny screws and separating the bottom plate, after that easily as eating cake. (don't do that when working on this, save it as a celebration of your great work) good luck!

Daughter broke the charging port. This works perfect and was simple to replace. And the price was great.

This part fits the Dell Inspiron 3505 laptop and other models. It is a very easy part to replace requiring only a screwdriver and a bit of care. Remove the lower cover, disconnect the battery connector, unscrew the screen hinge and rotate out of the way carefully, unscrew the WiFi module and move the cables out of the way without disconnecting the antenna cables. Remove the power cable board connector and replace. Refit in reverse.Tip: use a magnet to keep the screws from being misplaced. Videos are available online.
