My kids, my animals, and I are sensitive to the smell of WD40 and I wanted something that works great and odorless and OMG I wish I would have found this sooner!! This makes everything silent! No creaks or squeaks!! If you're having issues opening it, be sure to use a butter knife or tweezers to lift the red tip thing. It's weird but it's a small trade off! I recommend it!!

I had a bottle of this oil somewhere and could not find it so made the purchase. I use it mainly on my archery equipment like the target sight that has very fine threaded components, where you don't want something heavier like the old 3-in-1 oil that might pick up dust and/or smell...well, like oil. This oil is thin and pretty much odorless. Aside from the reason I purchased it, it is a good general purpose, albeit light, oil to have around for lubricating fine machinery type components where you don't want dust to collect. I suppose you could use it on sewing machines too. In my opinion it's one of the best in it's class. Plus I like the dispensing bottle it comes in. It does not leak all over the place if you say keep it on it's side in a toolbox like I do.

I've been using Singer Machine oil for decades. Good on Singer for not cheaping out and reformulating it over the years to cut costs -- this is the same stuff we've all grown to know and love. I often use it to lube my Braun and Panasonic electric shavers among other things. I also use a touch of it on the screen and blades to help reduce wear on both components. Unlike some lubricants, it won't gum up after a while. For cleaning gummed up machine parts, removing rust, and cleaning, WD-40 can't be beat, but for lubricating, I prefer Singer over WD-40. Singer is safe to use on even delicate equipment like cameras. If you're using it for delicate machine parts like those in cameras, use it VERY SPARINGLY! Use a pin or paperclip to apply the oil indirectly for controlling precisely how much of it you use. I have absolutely no problem using it for my vintage cameras over the years. If you need something for lubricating machine parts, try the time-tested Singer oil.

In this day and age with gas prices it is cheaper by far in time and money to find these here and have them delivered if you have prime. I do and I ordered it to save me about 2 gallons of gas going to buy one fairly locally. The oil arrived sealed and in good shape. I used it on the bits inside a Singer 301a I had just bought and wouldn't work. After oiling and moving the gears around by hand, the gears all broke free and the machine purrs like a kitten. I still need to get some gear grease but at least now I know the machine runs. I don't know a thing about oil except its greasy so all I can say is, this worked for what I needed it to do and I'm happy with the purchase. I will probably never have to buy oil like this again, so the little bottle will be on the shelf waiting for the next time I need it.

I bought this because my sewing machine (Husqvarna) needed some cleaning and lubrication. It worked well for this purpose. Olie lijkt me goed, niet zo dun als wat men gewoonlijk naaimachineolie noemt, kwaliteit kan ik niet echt beoordelen. Tuitje is handig in te klappen, voor uitklappen kan je een speld gebruiken maar het lijkt niet helemaal af te dichten, flesje kan beter rechtop bewaard worden.

This Singer machine oil does it's magic in keeping all my sewing machines, sergers, and other machines in great working condition. This is a universal oil that can be used for a variety of purposes. The price is great, too! I like the small spout on the bottle that can deliver the oil into the smallest of places. Some oils are too thick, but this machine oil is of high quality.
