Waterwise carbon post filter 6 pack for model 4000

Waterwise Distiller is the BEST. Been using for nearly 20 years. As long as you change the Carbon Post filter regularly, the water this machine puts out is better than water from a glacier.

They are identical to the ones that came with the distiller I bought. Work GREAT, snap in and generally leave a FEW particles in the bottom of the first run, but they hang out in the bottom of the pitcher, so I just pour in what's clean and then have to clean out the bottom of the pitcher, which I do anyway, so no big deal. Just pay attention to it after the first run. Other than that little note, these are seriously a MUST HAVE for a distiller. I marked the date I changed it out and will keep track of how many gallons I make. It's good for 60-80 gallons, or every 2 months. I try to run at least 2 gallons a day, so should last me the 2 months.

I like using a water filter which allows me to us the house faucet and yet change my drinking water and cooking water for a better healthier type. This is an easy fix and saves buying lots of plastic bottles of water at the store.

One of six arrived damaged with carbon and contents spilling out into the plastic cover. Pricey to have one unusable. Otherwise a good product based on past experiences.

I have a Waterwise 4000 distiller ...these filters are so easy to replace and really get the crap out of the water, I was amazed the first time I used the distiller at all the slimy, smelly stuff left in the distiller. My original order of filters had been damaged in shipping and the company replaced them very quickly. I am very pleased with the product and the service. I should mention that if you have a distiller you should always test the ph. ...more than likely it will be acidic, especially after it is distilled...that's why I use the Alkazone ph drops to balance and make it more alkaline.

I have not used the distiller without a filter. I keep a tick mark on the wall, and for my area here in FL, I can get about 70-75 gallons out of one filter before I notice a decline in the quality of the water. I have recommended this product to others, and they change their filters by marking the calendar every month or every other month. I produce an average of 3-4 gallons per day because I'm a dog breeder and this is what they drink, so I use the tick mark on a piece of paper method so I can get the maximum usage out of a filter. The dogs will let me know if they don't like the water any more, and I change the filter. I can get a box of filters to last about 10 months give or take.

We live in the country and have well water, but there seems to be some sand in the water that clog the faucets. I bought a Waterwise 4000 distiller for drinking and have been using the replacement Filter cups for several years. I love it and so thankful that I found a place where I can get the identical filters I need. I love the taste. Great for making my lemon aid.

This is a six-pack of filters . . . so far the first one opened had an issue with the filter gauze, so leaked carbon everwhere and was unuseable! I am using the second one I opened. In all the years that I’ve owned my Waterwise distiller, I’ve never experienced this problem before. Perhaps it’s just a ‘one-off’, but if I open another faulty filter, I will seriously complain . . . these are not cheap!

L'eau que nous filtrons avec ces filtres, nous semblent identique à ceux de la Marque de la machine. L'eau filtrée, n'a pas d'odeur ou de goût particulier. Elle semble neutre, comme les filtres utilisés de la Marque. Le prix est avantageux. Je recommande ce produit.
