A great cable with bad connectors
I struggled to give this less than 3 stars because of the charging capability, which is excellent, but the connectors on these are really sub-par. I purchased four of these back in June (5 months ago), and two of them are already having issues "locking in" to the micro USB ports. These cables are more expensive than alternatives, and for the price, I expected better build quality. I was really impressed when I first got them and it seemed like they were well made, but that was short-lived. Yes, they charge pretty much everything I can throw at them with the maximum amperage they can handle, but it's sort of pointless when you can't get the connector to stay in the port.UPDATE 12/1/14: I added a star to make it 3 because Kopi did send me two replacement cables, but after a lot of hassle. I explained my issue and they wanted me to send them pictures of the connectors. Although I thought this was an odd request, I sent them a picture. They then asked me to send back the cables so they can give me replacements, and it seemed as if they didn't believe me that the connectors were bad. I felt like the interaction from them was a bit disrespectful, as the rep kept saying he doesn't understand why it would do that since they go through so much testing, and proceeded by sending me pictures of their testing equipment. He eventually said they will send replacements (after I gave up and said I would purchase from another cable manufacturer), which they did, but I doubt I'd deal with this company again after that. It's just a lot of hassle for a $6 cable.

Great charging cable but poor connector caps - Updated
UPDATE: I was contacted by Kopi after posting my original review and they sent a replacement cable. Unfortunately, while the caps were secure the cable stopped working after a couple of weeks. I contacted Kopi again and another new cable was shipped to me and this one's been working fine. I have several other Kopi cables which have been working fine and charging quickly for several months so overall I am very pleased with this cable and I appreciate the responsiveness of the manufacturer.Original review:This is the second one of these cables I've purchased, but unlike the first one the yellow plastic caps on this one slid off of both ends. Fortunately, there are no bare wires exposed since the inside is molded, but it's a real pain to try to remove the cable without benefit of the yellow plastic covers. The cable does handle a heavy charge better than most of my other cables which significantly speeds up the recharge process for most devices, but the loose yellow covers make it hard to use.

Cable seems good, connector cover came off right away.
Just received my cable today, and while the connectors seem rather solid, and the cable passes sufficient current to charge my tablet, I ran into an issue right away.. When I pulled the cable out of the charger, the plastic cover came off of the USB A end. I superglued the plastic cover back onto the end, but the fact it came off right away makes me a bit cautious about the longevity of this cable.Update : 7/25/2014I decided to order 2 additional cables under the pretense that the first could have merely been a fluke. I am glad to report that the 2 new ones I received have had no issues so far, and I am adding a 4th star.

Excellent price for a heavy-gauge cable for fast charging
Good luck finding another cable with heavy-gauge 20AWG wire for 2A charging. And when you do, they are expensive and fancy. This cable does the job well and at a reasonable price point. I bought two, and now I'm back for another one!Update: I bought a USB amp meter and have been using it to test different car chargers, etc, and see how different devices and labeled ports and cables all behave. Of the few devices we have, the Kindle Fire (original) seems to be able to draw the most current out of any charger it is connected to. With the Kopi cable and a charger capable of 2+ amps, it is pulling about 1.67 amps. The runner-up of the cables I have here is the one that came with an original Nexus 7 tablet, and it is running something like 1.4-1.5 amps (I didn't take exact notes). 2 years ago or so, I bought a 10-pack of ultra-cheap USB cables from ebay or somewhere direct-ship from China. I used one of those cables with the charger, and the most current I could get through it was 0.25 amps!! Yes, you read that right...0.25 amps. I'm waiting on another adapter so I can test amps at the device end of the cable, but from what I'm seeing so far, I don't know that it will be all that necessary for cable testing purposes with the results I've already gotten. To sum it up...if you have a device capable of more than 1/2 to 1 amp, just buy this cable!!

Shoddy connector broke quickly
The wire itself is defiantly heavy gauge as specified but the connectors on both ends are shoddy. On the large "A" end the yellow shell will slip right off. But the main issue is the micro end is slightly narrow compared to any other micro USB connector I've seen, and fit very loosely in all my devices. Now that the return period had passed, one of the outer pins on BOTH of the cables I ordered have slipped out of place and won't charge my devices.

Improved charging speed noticeably
The cable has definitely improved charging speed on my phone. I have always used a 2.4A wall charger and never found it to noticably improve the rate at which my phone would charge vs a USB port. When I started using these cables the improvement was immediately noticeable. I ordered 3; 2 for my night stand to change my nexus 5 and nexus 7 and one for my car charger. In the car I have found that my phone will increase in charge when navigating whereas before it would stay the same or even lose charge while plugged in.The cable is the full 1m like they say but I wish that there was an option for a longer one.
