I love the look of this toaster, it matches other Cafe appliances I have. It looks unique and modern. Toast are made within 60 seconds. You can put in frozen bread and push frozen it will defrost then cook. Need it faster you push express. Wow this toaster is so cool I love it. It has extra wide slots. You can also reheat your bagel, toast etc. It will take thick or thin bread. The lever stays down when you push it down. The setting are easy to use. It’s worth the money I paid. I wish they made a can opener to match.

I don't ask much from a toaster. For many years, I've used a vintage Dualite classic, but it was showing showing signs of needing an element, and I know from experience the perils of trying to get the right part. And it never toasted both sides evenly. It does this because the sides of the slot move in toward the middle when you depress it, holding the slice in the exact middle. Not a high speed toaster for the impatient. This one does. The toast it produces is just about perfect. Good range of color control. Easy to use. Big enough slot to accommodate the wide slices of more upscale bread. Very nice looking, too, although a bit in your face. It's a bit easy to bump the color control on the front, as it moves very easily, so watch that.

I received my toaster from Amazon today. Was very excited to get it as I had my former toaster for almost 20yrs. It was a heavy but sturdy four slice toaster and beautifully made. Now that my family is grown, and I'm 80yrs old, with limited space, I just need a two slice small toatser.. and fell in love with the look and writeup of this one. To my disappointment it is cheaply made (although over a $100.00) and the knobs and feet are a flimsy plastic! I pushed down the lever to see if it would toast and the fumes had me opening up windows and doors to clear the air. I can't return it, because I have essentially "used" it and flattened all the boxes including the manufacture's box. So now I have something that sits on my counter, looks quite nice from afar... but close up... its such a disappointment. My advice.. DON'T buy this brand!! Spend your $'s on something of TRUE quality.. (which unfortunately THIS is NOT!)

It's difficult to find a toaster that isn't plastic these days, and this Cafe model is made of what feels like sturdy metal. The browning knob and push-buttons are plastic, which is fine. But the lever you push down on to toast is also a lightweight plastic covered in what feels like foil paint. It looks fine from most distances, but will certainly appear cheap if the paint starts to flake off. I do like that this model has push buttons and a knob rather than a digital display (less to break), and overall it's a very nice looking toaster that toasts as well as any of them. I purchased a similar-looking toaster (from Drew Barrymore's "Beautiful" line) earlier this year for a little less than half the price of this one, but it felt like it would flip over whenever I pushed down on the lever. Prior to that, I had a very solid, 4-slice Cuisinart one that lasted about a decade.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Not only does it work well it's so attractive on my kitchen counter. I did some research and with all the positive reviews I chose this model. I have to say I am extremely pleased! Definitely good quality, toast well and I like all the various settings. The wide, long slots are great for bagels and other bakery breads. The express finish is a great function when you are in a hurry. It also has a reheat and frozen selection which is an added bonus. It cost a bit more but it's entirely worth it.

Love the look and function! It toasts quickly and evenly. It is easy to clean and keep clean. I have the the whole Cafe series in my kitchen, why not the toaster!

This toaster matches all my Cafe appliances but to be honest it is a hit and miss toaster. It is very slow and only toasts one side of the bread so I always have to flip it and then babysit it. Beautiful but definitely don’t love it !! It also had a very annoying odor for a long, long time every time I used it.

Looks great. This is heavy and well made. The express feature toasts faster. Overall evenly brown. Highly recommended. I am replacing a Breville that is not as good as this.

Has nice features but seems to be screwing up after only 1 month, have to fiddle with the brown-ness dial in order to get it to go down and stay down. For the money I expected more reliability
