ZlideOn Zipper Pull Replacement - 5pcs, Black, Narrow - Instant Zipper Replacement Slider Multipack

I'm sure this works well for some. Seems like a simple replacement part. It just didn't work for me.

I got this to fix my son's jacket slider. It was very easy to install (and snap back open to readjust - counter to some other reviews). It was a little stiff to slide once locked but managed to make a completely non-functional zipper work again. The slider worked for ~2 months before loosening up too much to keep the zipper functioning. Detatching and reattaching it did not seem to change it so I assume the moveable mechanisms (that allow this to attach without being sewn on) are just easier to wear down than a regular slider. Oh well - I'll probably try a slider replacement that requires sewing or cutting the top stopper off next but at least that got me through the coldest part of the winter.The main value of these simple slider replacements seems to be as a temporary fix. Perhaps keeping a few on hand when you're travelling in case one of your zippers starts malfunctioning. I was hoping for a more permanent solution but am not surprised that this didn't last. At the $10-15 price point this is definitely cheaper than replacing the entire jacket but probably more expensive than I want to spend every 2 months to keep a worn jacket working (compared with a more labor-intensive, but also more permanent fix).

Excellent product but I ordered silver and received a bronze colored zipper. It was slightly difficult to open since it has a hinge. It had to be pried open.

it can be a little tricky to attach, but if you do it correctly, it works. I had a zipper pull on a new throw pillow disintegrate in my hands. I thought about returning it, but figured they'd just toss it out so i decided to try and fix it. Since i don't sew, this seemed like a good option. The pillow was overstuffed which made things difficult. It popped off a couple of times as i tried to put the stuffing back in the pillow. Carefully reopening the Zlide on with a pair of needle nose pliers, then carefully clamping it back down hard with pliers did the trick. I do agree with other reviewers that it is imperative that you pick the correct zipper. This info and other details were easy to find if you just google the company's website. (you might save $$ as well)

I am not often inclined to edit my reviews, but given ZlideOn's speedy response to my issue I am changing my review from 1 star to 3. These replacement zippers did not work on my tent storage bag as they are not suited to that kind of heavy duty application. That said, when I was not able to successfully use the ZlideOn replacement zippers, they were quick to respond to my complaint and address the issue to my satisfaction. I feel these may be fine for apparel zippers, but be cautious when using them for things like tents or heavy duty storage bags.

First, customer service is excellent. I have edited my review to point this out. That means you can try to make it work and if you have an issue you can trust that they care. They contacted me to apologize and to offer a refund.I love the concept and you may be more fortunate than me and find that the zipper installs easily. I wasnt for me. My disappointment is that it cost $31 for a sample pack. Two of the zippers broke while trying to install. None of the zippers fit my zipper and the PROBLEM is that you have to be able to evalauate which zipper to order but you need the zipper in your hand to know what type. In my case it was a zipper on upholstery in my car. The poor rating is due to the zippers falling apart. And then the idea that I have to drive 15 minutes to the UPS store to return the broken product adds insult to injury. The price is outrageous.

The media could not be loaded.  So I purchased this new O'Neil wetsuit for my 11-year-old daughter. When we got to the beach The O'Neil zipper broke when she was putting it on. I called the surf shop that I purchased it from just to let them know what happened. The surf shop offered to replace it or return my money. I figured I'd look online and I fix it my self. I found z-slide. I ordered one measured it to purchase the zipper ended up being too small as mine said 4 mm so I actually had to go with a 5 mm which I believe was the large 5C2 WATERPROOF ZIPPER, So the waterproof ZIPPER large was perfect for this wetsuit and I have no issues at this time. Hopefully this helps.

Went by guidelines for ordering size for wetsuit replacement but l is to small should offer bigger sizes , but for easy of installation great
