Fit perfect on 77 cj 5.

Direct bolt on part to my 83 Jeep Scrambler. Does not come with hardware and I ended up using a cutoff wheel to remove the unneeded threaded stud on the back side of the plate because I'm too particular and wanted it to match the other side. Hence the 4 star rating.
